2020 HIGHLIGHTS

YEAR IN REVIEW

Facilities Maintenance had a productive year maintaining all the City facilities, through improvements and scheduled preventative maintenance.

Continued use of Assets Essentials and Facilities Maintenance (FAC MAN) continues to work with a high degree of efficiency and productivity.

Thanks to our highly trained team and state-of-the-art equipment FAC MAN we were able to do preventative maintenance within the city, e.g. plumbing, HVAC, general construction, and electrical systems to help prevent costly and catastrophic failures.

A component of FAC MAN is custodial services. This team of 6 employees service 135 sites and over 1.9 million sq. ft. 4,309 work orders completed 20,000+ man-hours servicing 135 sites and 1.9 million sq. ft. Completed Mountain Lion exhibit at Spring River Zoo

LOCATION Spring River Zoo TIME 2 years; completed October 2020 DETAILS This exhibit showcases our wonderful city zoo and provides a safe, enriching home for the mountain lion

WATER DAMAGE REMODEL

LOCATION Roswell Public Library STARTED July 2020 COST $131,205.16 DETAILS A massive water line break flooded the Children’s Area, the Bondurant Room and the public restrooms at the Library; the resulting damage led to the remodel of the restrooms

LOCATION General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery COST $516,000 DETAILS Continuing work; concepts have been submitted for cover for the Honor Guard during funerals
