Children's faces are brightened by The Game Changers
By: David RossouwWhile many people were getting ready for an outing on December 16, The Game Changers, a nonprofit organization, prepared a tasty Christmas dinner with party packs for children in Namaqua Street, Saxonsea (Pirate Town), while soft hot summer showers fell.

Although the raindrops wet a few heads here and there, the organizers and children were unaffected. Children waited patiently under the Gazebos until they were served and then ate their delicious meal. Due to the rain, some children returned home to enjoy their delicious meal with their party pack.
Melonie Faroa, one of The Game Changers' two directors, said she and her colleagues planned the day early in the year, and it was a huge success despite the rainy conditions.
Faroa, Robin Abels, Joslyn Sameuls, and Eden Adams founded The Game Changers in 2019. We are extremely grateful to our generous donors, Herschlin Marlow, Mailine Leukas, and Josline Sameuls.
The Game Changers currently operates with a registered social worker who is also one of the directors, Robin Abels. It is hoped that by 2023 they will be fully staffed with a registered psychologist and a solicitor living in Pirate Town, Saxonsea who are working on their final exams.

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have Robin Abels on our team, as her contributions have a significant impact on us, the organization, and even the youth."
"Many thanks to our donors, Craig and Sharon Osborne, Mervin and Melanie Moses, and many others, for your contributions and assistance in preparing a delicious meal for the children," Farao said.
