It is hard to look beyond USA but I also expect Spain to be there or thereabouts.
What about Ireland?
It would be great if they could get out of their group.
World Cup hopes…
That it will inspire many young girls to take up soccer here in Ireland.

What about Ireland?
Hopefully Ireland can get out of their group.
World Cup hopes…
That it will encourage more people to watch women’s soc- cer and more girls to play the sport. Also, some good games and hopefully Ireland play well.
Sevens Finals
The RDYSL Sevens Finals take place in Shiven Rovers on Saturday evening and we wish all of our teams well. All support for our girls and boys is much appreciated.
On the Pitch
Our Real side made it through to the U-14s Sevens Cup Final
Roscommon athlete, Hollie Kilroe, has qualified for the European Youth Olympics, which take place in Maribor, Slovenia at the end of this month. This is Hollie’s second time to qualify for the games.
In association with the thanks to an Aaron Miley hattrick away to Kilkerrin. Star Player: Conor Keaveney.
Sadly, an all-Roscommon Town final wasn’t to be as our Atletico side were defeated at home to Shiven. Goals from Cian Connaughton and Dwayne Murray brought the lads level but the visitors finished the game strongly. Star Player: Eoin Ryan.
On Tuesday, our Town 1 U-12 side were in Dunmore to play their semi-final. Today (Thursday), our two U-16 teams are in Sevens action in Lisnamult with both hoping to make their respective finals on Saturday evening.
On Friday, all eight U-11 sides have home matches. Town 1, 2 and 3 are at home to Skyvalley, Lough Harps and Moylough respectively. The girls’ CL and EL teams welcome St John’s Athletic. On Saturday, our U-18 team have a league match in Dunmore.
