Glinsk Community Childcare is currently seeking an
Caisleán Óir would like to invite applications for Early Years Educators to work in our busy centre. We are looking for someone that is caring and who has a passion for children. Minimum level 5 or level 6 in Early Childhood Education. First Aid, Manual handling, Fire safety certificates and H.A.C.C.P. are a bonus. Full time and Part time available, priority will be given to full time applicants.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To take the steps necessary to ensure the welfare of the child in the service.
• A knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
ÓIR, CHILDCARE AND
• To be responsible for maintaining and updating children’s records, and history of events of note such as accidents and injury, illness, visits, and the signing in and out of children.
• To know and implement agreed policies and procedures that guide the service.
• To liaise with all parents and carers of the children who attend the service and ensure good communication on a range of matters, especially child welfare
• To undertake other duties as required from time to time.
Essential Criteria:
• Satisfies employment criteria in relation to current relevant legislation including Garda Vetting.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to relate to children, families, and staff
• Good ability to work as part of a team.
• A knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.

On the First Anniversary of the death of Eamon, we his family would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who helped and supported us with our great loss.

A very special thank you to Eamon and Anne’s wonderful family, neighbours and friends who visited and supported them throughout their final weeks which meant so much to them and to us as a family. We are indebted to you all.
Thank you to the staff of Roscommon Hospital and Pallitave Care Team, we sincerely appreciate the impeccable care delivered to Eamon and Anne throughout the last year.
A sincere thank you to Fr. Francis Beirne for all his pastoral care and support and who officiated a beautiful and fitting Funeral Mass on both occasions and to the Mass servers and singers and everyone who contributed in any way.
Thank you to Maureen’s Foodstore who provided catering, Henry Hamrock Undertakers, the grave diggers, those who stood in a Guard of Honour and everyone who provided help and support to us during the last difficult year, we are very grateful.
