All change at town’s schools now under new management
CHILTERN Learning Trust has grown to a family of 15 schools with the addition of four Bedfordshire schools.
Kempston Challenger Academy, Daubeney Academy, Springfield Primary School and Lancot Primary School (Luton) – were all part of the Challenger Multi-Academy Trust (CMAT).
CMAT’s Trustees took the decision for the schools to join with Chiltern Learning Trust (CLT) and this was formerly approved, following an extensive period of consultation and due diligence, by the Department for Education on May 1, 2022. CMAT’s Trustees had previously decided that joining with an experienced local multi-academy trust was the best course of action following the withdrawal of their original sponsor. The Trustees selected CLT as the best multi-academy trust for their four Bedfordshire schools to join due to CLT’s excellent reputation and a shared character-led approach to learning. CLT’s Senior Leadership Team is led by CEO Adrian Rogers (pictured) and the team has worked closely with the four schools,

Conclubbers raise £4500
THE charity event at the Consitutional Club Kempston went off with a bang on May 1, 2022, with the games of It’s a Knockout School Days in Addison Park. With over 20 players in fancy dress it was boys against girls and it was level pegging until the tug of war which the boys ended up winning which Audra says the men cheated of course but thanks
to everyone who did take part just through everyone that played as they raised over £700 just for the pain of playing. They then moved on back to the Conclub where the party had already started and the fundraising had begun so after raffles, singers,
