Joining the family firm

THE well-known independent Bedford High Street stationery shop, Colemans, is excited to announce that a third generation of the family, Tallie, has joined the business. Tallie Paterson-Gordon, daughter of the managing director Joanna, has been working during the lock-down to build a totally new company website. Joanna’s father, John, started the business in Higham Ferrers in 1969, selling stationery, office supplies, art & craft materials. He handed over the reins to his daughter upon his retirement. However even now at 87 he keeps a watchful eye on the business and works in the picture framing department at the Oundle shop. Colemans has 13 high street stores across Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. The new website has made it even easier to order from Colemans and they offer a free delivery service if you are within 30 miles of one of their shops. If you sign up to their newsletter you will receive 10% discount off your first order at www.colemangroup.co.uk

Let us put it right! offers agile accountancy services including helping people access technology to run their businesses. “What we do keeps you in touch with your bottom line and allows you to make decisions faster and plan better,” says Alex who has been a keynote speaker in her industry. She relocated to the Marks Mews earlier this year. Castle Quay is a hot spot for other investors. Fronting the riverside is the Bedford Swan Hotel which is benefitting from millions of pounds of investments.
