Our pre-college summer programs will build your STEM skills and knowledge. You will learn from Rose-Hulman’s professors and students, and interact with high schoolers from around the world.

9th grade 10th grade


At Rose POWER, you’re not just dreaming about the future—you’re building it. This hands-on summer camp at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is designed to empower rising 10th and 11th grade girls to explore innovation and engineering, as well as all students who want to build any widget or gadget they can imagine, but have not had experience in a makerspace. Guided by inspiring mentors, students gain confidence using tools and technology while discovering powerful ideas.
Session I: June 7-12
Session II: June 14-19

A one-week immersive science and engineering camp for students like you who want to gain greater awareness of the STEM fields, as well as hands-on experience. High school sophomores or juniors will build on existing science and math knowledge and connect it to modern engineering applications.

This 11-day program lets you experience college life, meet new friends, and design, build, and present a STEM project from scratch. High school juniors and seniors will get hands-on experience working in our state-of-the-art labs on projects ranging from creating polymers to brewing biodiesel or building autonomous vehicles.

This one-week experimental engineering design-at-home program was inspired by one of our mechanical engineering courses. You’ll get all the equipment and materials shipped straight to you to accompany virtual instruction from Rose professors.

Earn college credit prior to entry into college. Students completing grades 11 and 12 by summer 2026 can earn credits towards a Rose-Hulman degree by participating in Rose Accelerate. A list of courses offered can be found at rhit.edu/accelerate
