MISSING LINK Term 2 2017
PRINCIPAL’S REPORT As you will see in the rest of this term’s Missing Link our students have had another very successful term. I would like to congratulate them all and acknowledge the support of our teachers, administrative staff and parents for the great programs, events and activities we can offer with your help. I would like to note that the Minchinbury Trade Skills Centre was opened on June 9 (pictured above left with RHHS School Captains, RHHS Staff and Hon Karen Andrews MP) and that this school is delighted to be partnered with TAFE in metals and advanced manufacturing. I would like to extend my best wishes to Year 12 for their trial examinations and the preparation of their major works, performances and reports for the HSC in Term 3. I would like to congratulate the Year 11 students who have nominated for senior leadership positions for 2017-18. I would also like to thank the following staff and wish them success as they move to new jobs: • Dennis Govender, our school counsellor who has been promoted as a Senior Psychologist located at The Meadows Primary School. • Robb Dennis who has been with us as a Music teacher since the start of Term 1. He has decided to return to complete a PhD and devote more time to his studies.
