Five Biblical Directives That Will Change Your Personal Economy By Pastor Ronnie D. Joyner, D.Min. The Bible has answers for every problem. Today, many individuals and families are distressed and seeking to get through impoverished and straitened circumstances. Luke 4:18a provides an answer and has Jesus declaring "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor‌"KJV. Poor, according to a recent U.S. Census Report says 1 out of every 8 persons in America are living in poverty, 39.8 million persons out of 309,162,581. I believe the best "good news" each of these neighbors of ours should hear is an answer to their impoverished and straitened condition. Lost your job, house in foreclosure , IRS sending levy letters, are you like the 400 friends and family members of David in I Samuel 22:1,2 who were in debt, distressed and discontented? Here are Five Biblical Directives That Will Change Your Personal Economy! I have found I Chronicles 16:29 to be an excellent text in creating the initial 3 biblical directives. Mark 1:35-45 will highlight the 4th one and Acts 11:26 stipulates the 5th. 1. I Chronicles 16:29 ~ "Give unto the Lord the glory due his name: bring an offering and come before him: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" KJV. A. "Give unto the Lord the glory due his name"~In that God has given you another day, start it out with a Glory Release! B. Return your thanks with Glory (haw-lal') which means to say thank you, to rave, to praise or to celebrate! 2. "Bring an offering and come before him"~ "Min-khaw" in this instance represents a sacrificial offering brought to God. A. As a practice in creating an offering, the animals were fed a nutritional diet so they could be used as an offering. B. Each Monday - Friday Morning at 6am during The Priesthood of Prayer on HotJoyRadio.com, Livestream.com/hjoy and (712) 432-3066 Access Code 219600 we also celebrate The Lord's Supper. In addition, we practice Intercession and become strengthened through the Word of the Day and Power Minutes. We also give opportunity to make a Glory Offering of $1.70 or more. This act of private worship to God in accordance with the verse, is also practiced. I have made a Glory Box that I place my offering in daily > {God's Stock Market}. C. The planting of $1.70 daily will become $51.00 after 30 days. That equates to a Jubilee Seed. Jubilee is our quest. Leviticus 25 outlines the covenant teaching preventing overworking the land, calls for regular land redistribution and negated the perpetuation of servitude. According to Deut. 15:4, an additional Jubilee teaching, these actions were intended to eliminate poverty.
