The story is also about dreams. Not letting anyone tell you that your dreams will not come true.

You need to fight for your dreams. Even if this means having to break the rules.

It's about prejudice, rejection and depression.

The story is about not hiding away and just wishing things in your life will get better. You need to get out into the world and work on making your dreams come true.

The fable is also about raising children and going through the pain of one day having to set them free to live their own lives.

Easy to read.

Worth reading more than once.

A great book for all ages.

In my opinion, this would be a good book for teenage women to read and discuss.

The chapters are short.

Makes for a good bedtime story. It may be a little scary for younger children.

Be prepared to explain the meaning of 'culled'.

The ending may be a little sad.
