kIdz,petz+holidayz - let the fun begin!
Some of us are lucky enough to have some time off over the Festive season. Some are even luckier to be able to go away on holiday. But most lucky are those who are able to take their pets with them on their annual family vacation. There is nothing like seeing a car loaded with holiday kit and a
dog’s head out the window, happily having his face in the airstream. He doesn’t care that his whiskers are plastered to his face, or that his slobber is glued to his ears. He just can’t believe his luck that he is going to enjoy some timeout with his family where they can laugh and play without worrying about
what time to go to bed because... it’s holiday time!! Okay so this isn’t meant to make those of you who can’t take your pet with on holiday, feel bad! I mean, you can put your own face out the car window and feel that airstream too! (Just keep a wetwipe handy for the gob.)

Holidays are for renewed sense of fun with your pets.
Jokes aside, it is really just a matter of practicality. Sometimes Fido can come with, and sometimes he can’t. If you are leaving your pet at home with a housesitter, or giving him his own little vacation with a lovely bunch of other furry buds in your favourite kennel, before and after you leave, dedicate some downtime to those beautiful animals and show them you care. The best way to celebrate your relationship with your pet is to interact. ROGZ has brought out a wonderful new range of toys to give you a wider selection of fun things to do with your dog or puppy. Choose an appropriate treat that will suit his palate and stuff it into the Gumz, Yumz, Grinz Ball or Da Bone! Smear peanut butter onto the body of Flossy Grinz or the Yumz and watch him lick it off while you brush him. Grab onto the handle of the Scrubz and play tug of war with Fido, knowing that his teeth are safe. Squeak the leg of the Cowboy and twist it back and forth, driving him crazy with delight. Throw the RFO high into the air and laugh while he tries to catch it expertly (or not). And that’s just to warm up! Take some time at the beginning of the holidays to bake or freeze some great dog or puppy treats. There are some wonderful safeand healthy recipes out there. You can use these treats to stuff inside our

Show your love to your pet with healthy treats! our ROGZ treat toys, or just to give it to him in a quiet moment of togetherness. Food is a great way to show love to your dog. Holidays are really important not only to have some down time from work or school, but also to have some relaxed, non-rushed time with your pets. They will feel your more chilled behaviour, and your renewed sense of fun. By all means have your checklist of things to pack, doublecheck your accommodation details and make sure the car is safe and ready to transport precious cargo. But once you’ve arrived, forget about lists,
forget about what you should or shouldn’t be doing. Rather take a deep breathe and open your arms for your loved ones to snuggle in, and that, of course, includes your extra special furry friend!

PASSION Because there’s more to business than just doing business.
We are a proudly South African company and cannot stand by and watch our heritage being taken away from us. We are deeply concerned, horrified and truly saddened by the brutal killing of our beautiful Rhinos. We have decided that we cannot continue to close our eyes to what is happening. The sheer extent of the challenge ahead of us, as a country, and the cruelty of what we are up against is overwhelming but we cannot all just give up without a fight. The rhinos will not make it without all of us standing together and doing something.
ROGZ kits Zoe and Bullet The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) is a South African wildlife sanctuary devoted to rehabilitating endangered and vulnerable animals. In recent weeks, they have taken in several orphaned rhinos, and it is critical their security and anti-poaching efforts are maximized, for the safety of the animals and staff.
Fight for Rhinos is working with the HESC on canine training for their AntiPoaching Unit and needed products for their existing anti-poaching canines, Zoe and Bullet. As a company which makes products for dogs, it was a natural first step for ROGZ to provide collars, leads and harnesses to this K9 unit and others being used in the fight against poaching. This is the start of our ROGZ involvement, which we hope will grow enough to have a significant and positive impact.

Other K9 institutions that ROGZ has donated products to are: - SA Wildlife College which trains K9 dogs for Sanparks and other private reserves in RSA. - Timbavati K9 Unit has received products for their AntiPoaching K9 unit. - K9 Conservation which operates around the Kruger National Park. - Specialized Tactical Tracking Unit is involved with every Rhino Poaching and Farm Attack scene in the Waterberg District

our ROGZ toyz are rockin’! Dogs all around the world are going to be spoilt with fantastic ROGZ toyz this festive time! The choice is extensive with regards functionality, size and colour. The original ROGZ offering of toys have been added to and so we have a plethora of options to suit any dog lover and his pet. ROGZ started the journey into toyz with the introduction of Da Bone, Molecule and our RFO. We had a variety of colours and only one size in each offering. In 2010, the new ROGZ LightHouse arrived, with

But by far the most impactful introduction was our now famous ROGZ Grinz ball. Dogs and their owners all around the world have had so much fun and interaction with this great treat toy with its added “grin” reward. ROGZ also decided to standardize its colours with each category having 5 Rogzalicious colours, plus 3 sizes (except RFO and LightHouse). In 2014, ROGZ Cowboyz, Thinz and Fluffy Grinz joined the selection and have established themselves with each of their benefits and features. And so this year, 2016, ROGZ has introduced the cleaning feature and benefit to our next range of new toyz. ROGZ Scrubz has a strong handle for tug or fetch plus the crackle sound make dogz go wild, all while their teeth being cleaned. ROGZ Yumz is our new dispensing chew toy that has Gum Massaging Technology to massage those itchy gums. It has 3 fins inside to hold treats longer and bounces
and fetches as well. ROGZ Flossy Grinz is our brand new answer to having fun and getting your dog’s teeth and tongue cleaned. You can give vegetables and fruits by themselves, or mash or puree them to freeze.
