Weekly and flexi boarders If your daughter is a weekly or flexi boarder and is required for Speech Day, she is able to stay overnight on Friday 1 November free of charge and we will be running a Saturday Victoria escort service after Speech Day. Alternatively, your daughter can stay for the weekend and you would not be charged for this either. Please inform your daughter’s Housemistress of the arrangements you would like to make. International Day: Friday 22 November After half term, Roedean will be hosting our first ‘International Day’ which is being organised by members of our Prefect Team. This will be a celebration of our diversity as a school, and it is important for the whole community to come together and wear clothing that represents all the different nations represented at Roedean. Over the half term, please help your daughter gather appropriate clothes that are representative of her cultural background – this includes national costumes, flag colours, face paints, sports jerseys and such. We thank you in advance for your contribution in helping to make this a successful event. Progress Interim Reports for all years Your daughter’s interim progress report will be available to download from the Parent Portal from Wednesday 16 October. Please go to ‘My Daughter’ tab>School Reports>View School Assessments. If your daughter has private lessons (ie you are paying for private tuition), a report from her teacher(s) is also available to download. Parents should contact firstname.lastname@example.org if they experience any difficulty accessing the Parent Portal.

If you would like to dress up too, the more the merrier! It is also a good time to sort out those items that could be used for the Fair. We particularly need items for Tombola, Lucky Dip and Raffle prizes. They can also share ‘tweets’ written by others to their followers. A parent guide is available to download from the Parent Portal >Parent Handbook>Documents and Files>General Information>ICT folder but the link to the National Online Safety website is below. https://nationalonlinesafety.com/resources/wake-up-wednesday/twitter-online-safety-guide-forparents/
