Shuttle Service To Saddle Club! (Look for signs)

Friday, October 28, 2011 Double Session 5-6: King City Saddle Club Double Session 7-8: King City Saddle Club Chris Irwin returns to the Mt. Vernon Conference as a unique keynote speaker! A leading coach and trainer-of trainers in the international horse industry, it was lessons learned from working with wild horses that spurred Chris’s greatest insights into emotional intelligence, leadership and learning how to learn. If he could transform the primal and volatile nature of wild mustangs into 18 U.S. National Champions in riding and driving competitions, couldn’t we do this for ourselves and potentially for each other? These innovative insights on animal behavior inspired Chris’ writing of two best-selling books, Horses Don’t Lie and Dancing With Your Dark Horse. Personal odysseys of how and why “horse sense” benefits human potential and the popular success of his books established Chris as a pioneer in the emerging industry of horses being worked with as catalysts for learning in therapeutic, academic, corporate team building and personal development programs. The scope and impact of Chris’ message on horse sense is now reaching far beyond the borders of the horse industry: from leadership presentations at both The Hague in The Netherland and for the Canadian Government, to evolving teaching skills with educators, Chris also provides mentoring for disadvantaged youth, consults for counseling and therapeutic programs, and has worked within the prison system and PTSD healing modalities. Whether he is delivering a corporate team-building workshop with horses or keynote speaking from a podium, his resume is rich and varied. Chris Irwin is guaranteed to provide thought provoking, highly intensive, deeply moving emotional experiences for educators to improve students’ learning and people of all ages from all walks of life. As the Toronto Star wrote: “Chris Irwin is a man on a mission—to challenge the way we communicate with each other; one
