WORK EXPERIENCE As a person raised in a environment of creativity and shaped to seek constant improvement, I have built my path to become an architect since I was a young child. My commitment, passion and hard work is what distinguish myself and my creations.

Art has been part of my life from a really early age, since then, I always visualized myself using it to positively impact people’s lives. What drives my desire towards architecture is to leave my mark, and a part of myself in a design that will shape the future of an individual. I do not aim for recognition because of the visual attractiveness of my work, I design for the people that occupy the spaces. I design to improve the human experience and consequently a part of my client’s life.

SLR CENTER Ottawa, Canada 11,300 Sq. ft.

The SLR center is a place of worship in Ottawa. Different from other places of worship, this is not a building that aims to host a certain group of people for a limited period of time. SLR center is not a place where people walk out after the mass or ceremony is over, withouth experiencing any feelings. The SLR center provides spaces for worship, learning and recreational purposes. This aims to get more families attending and change the mindset and concept of a religious building and rutinary religious ceremony. Here kids are able to interact and build a community inside these three buildings or on the exterior courtyard. The project resembles the holy trinity and uses symbolism from Christianism.

ANIZATION THE ORGANIZATION IS RESSEMBLING THE MOVEMENT OF THE HANDS WHEN DOING THE SIGN OF THE HOLY CROSS. CONSEQUENTLY IT PROVIDES A CENTRAL COURTYARD WHERE THE COMMUNITY BUILDING ACTIVITIES WOULD TAKE PLACE.

MARINE SCIENCE CENTER EXTENSION Savannah, GA 19,000 Sq. ft.

The extension of the marine science center is located in Skidaway Island. This building serves as a learning space and research area for marine scientists. The aim of the design is to celebrate the natural factors that the marsh provides. The topography is embraced and highlighted, by providing two entries at a diffferent level taking advantage of the different heights that can be found on that land. The science center has spaces to rest and work with clear and open views towards the marsh.

RIVER LOOKOUT Urban project River st - Savannah, Georgia 4800 Sq. ft.

This projects aims to restore the historic Factors Walk of Savannah by providing two environments that connect the city level to the river front without affecting the circulation space between these two. The design intent has two main objectives. Firstly, to fit in the context where it stands, by evocating the natural elements and organic shapes that characterize the city of Savannah. Secondly, the project strives to honor the river since it is the biggest attractive of the city.

Regarding the experience, the project generates a sense of mystery from the outside by only giving people a restricted part of the experience. The small entrances result in a sense of enclosure, highly contrasted with the openness of the interior. The building is accesible from both, the river level and the city level.
