TRACTION CONTROL FOR FEET HexaGrip is certified by the UK government’s HSL laboratory with a 4-star GRIP rating, far beyond standard slip ratings. The ultimate slip resistance for footwear, the GRIP scheme uses rigorous, scientific testing to measure and grade the sole’s performance.
Military Grade Testing To find out how HexaGrip stands up to extreme use, it was tested on the pedatron, a specialist stepping machine used to test the durability of military footwear. After one million continuous steps on the pedatron, HexaGrip still achieves a slip rating in excess of SRC, the highest slip rating found on safety footwear.
Engineered to give outstanding grip, HexaGrip is unique to Blackrock. With a hexagonal rubber tread pattern that maximises the surface area for grip and a network of drainage channels that disperse water, HexaGrip keeps you on your feet even in the toughest conditions.
