2023Impact Report

Dear Friends,

2023 was all about community at Rodman for Kids.

Community

Community is a thread that runs through everything we do. Rodman for Kids provides youth-focused organizations with a supportive community they can’t access elsewhere through our Charity Partner program, and we offer thousands of kids access to the performing arts community through our Theatre for Kids program

As a part of our community of supporters, you enable and amplify the work of youthfocused organizations and, together, profoundly impact thousands of kids.

Because of you, 2024 will be a monumental year for Rodman for Kids. For this and so much more, I thank you.

Gratefully,

At a Touch Tour for blind & visually impaired kids prior to an audio described performance of Disney’s “Frozen” the Musical, attendees tactically explored elements of the show.

A better future begins

In addition to this comprehensive support, Rodman for Kids also provides fundraising and organizational resources, as well as financial support and direct investments in our Charity Partners’ missions

Charity Partner Program

Rodman for Kids believes in the power of collaboration, working together with 40+ youth-focused non-profit organizations as a true partner to support the young people in our communities.

Rodman for Kids brings together the leaders and staff of our Charity Partners to create a collaborative peer learning and support community, building their knowledge & capacity through professional and leadership development opportunities

Through these meetings, our C Rodman for Kids on their work pp needs in real time.

This year, our Charity Partners were grouped into cohorts, which allowed for further development of community and increased opportunities for idea sharing and collaboration.

By bringing these organizations and leaders together on a regular basis, the conditions for deep relationships and new partnerships are created, extending well beyond the space Rodman for Kids holds with them.

Rodman Ride for Kids

Through the Rodman Ride for Kids, our signature cost-free fundraising platform, Charity Partners convene and are offered fundraising opportunities that increase participation, grow donor engagement, and ultimately raise more funds for their programs.

IN 2023:

$3 MILLION raised by and for Charity Partners

100% of funds supported Charity Partner mission

Thousands of k impacted $0 cost for 42 Charity Partne

The Rodman Ride for Kids continues t impact countless young lives for the better.

Theatre for Kids

The Theatre for Kids program breaks down barriers to make the performing arts accessible to ALL kids, regardless of socioeconomic status or ability, introducing them to new dreams and life changing experiences.

In 2023, Rodman for Kids offered experiences to kids with different abilities so that they, too, can experience the magic of the arts:

Partnered on a Sensory Friendly performance of “Blue Man Group” for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other sensory processing disorders.

Brought kids who are deaf or hard of hearing to an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performance of Disney’s “Frozen” the Musical followed by an ASL Q&A with the interpreters.

Brought kids who are blind or partially sighted to a touch tour, where they got to explore pieces of the costumes, wigs, and set ahead of an audio described performance of Disney’s “Frozen” the Musical.
