Sayde & Ayden...
are siblings separated by the foster care system in Massachusetts.
This year, they were able to reunite for a week of fun at summer camp.
Marta... was in trouble with the police and on the path to juvenile detention.
After successfully completing a detention diversion program, she is now excelling at school and on track to graduate.
Paul... is a non-verbal teenager living Autism.
This year, he joined a support gr and communicated that this is t first time in his life that he feels heard and feels a sense of community and connection.

They all receive assistance from an organization supported by Rodman for Kids.
Through Rodman for Kids’
40 Charity Partners, thousands of kids are given the chance at a brighter tomorrow.
Where We’ve Been
The first Ride for Kids raised $30,000, which all went to one Charity Partner. 1991
Several new organizations joined the Rodman Ride for Kids event.
Theatre for Kids was established, creating ongoing opportunities to give children access to live theatre
The first annual Celebration for Kids gala was held at the Seaport World Trade Center.
The pandemic forced the Ride for Kids and Celebration for Kids to go virtual.
The Ride for Kids went back on the road for the first ever hybrid Ride!
500 kids attended "Hadestown" the day theatre returned to Boston following the 20 month pandemic closure.
Rodman for Kids rebranded to reflect its mission more clearly.

...served as the catalyst to raise more than $160 million to benefit kids in our communities.
Where We Are
In 2024, Rodman for Kids...
...launched its inaugural Young Professionals Board, bringing together 15 emerging leaders dedicated to supporting the organization’s mission.
...hosted 18 professional development sessions for our 42 Charity Partners, providing them with valuable knowledge and resources to better serve the children in their communities.
...introduced 6,000 children to the magic of live, professional theatre through the Theatre for Kids program, with 35% of participants being children with differing abilities.
...raised nearly $3 million, together with its Charity Partners, through the Ride for Kids, supporting thousands of kids across Massachusetts.
Where We’re Going
In 2025, Rodman for Kids aims to
...enrich the 100,000th kid through the magic of the performing arts with the Theatre for Kids program.
...launch the 1st Annual Ride for Kids Jr. as part of the Ride for Kids, creating new opportunities for young people to engage in philanthropy and make a difference in their communities.
...expand the team to 8 people, enhancing capacity to support youth-focused nonprofits, their leaders, and the children they serve.

What We Do
Rodman for Kids provides comprehensive support, including fundraising and organizational resources, to youth-focused charities of all sizes –from passion projects in the incubation stage to established community youth organizations to hospital pediatric units.
In addition to financial support, Rodman for Kids provides space and programs for collaboration, networking, professional development, and best practices for our Charity Partners.

He now has a mentor who is also Puerto Rico, offering him a meaningful connection through shared heritage.
is a 17 year old who spent the last 3.5 years in residential care transitioning into foster care.
She is currently collecting essentials for her first apartment.
