I

ntroduced in the early 1980s, Rod’s original Dream Maker carp rods set a new standard, rapidly becoming among the most sought after rods on the market.

Now, more than three decades later and after significant development, Rod Hutchinson has launched a new range of Dream Maker carp rods. Retaining the actions of the original rods, the new Dream Makers have benefited from the vast advancement in materials and components development over the last 30 years, allowing us to create what we believe to be the ultimate range.

Combining just the right amount of power in each model to provide the required backbone for casting, whether you’re flicking out light chods at short to medium range with our Semi-Progressive 2.75lb or casting distances in excess of 160 yards

with PVA bags by using our Semi-Fast 3.5lb models, all our rods have been designed with a forgiving tip that provides the cushion required to prevent hook-pulls at close quarters under the rod top.

Manufactured from low-resin 1k Japanese woven carbon, these super-slim, crisp, responsive blanks feature Fuji DPS reel seats with gunsmoke fittings, super-slick, hardwearing three-leg zirconium oxide guides whipped in black with a stylish green trim, anti-wrap tip ring and abbreviated handles with an EVA/Japanese shrink-tube Duo butt grip.

CABRIO BIVVIES

W

hen we designed the new range of Cabrio Bivvies, we decided to buck the recent trend of making shelters smaller and smaller, until you could barely fit a bedchair inside. Instead, we have created a bivvy that provides ample room inside, allowing for the increased size of bedchairs as well as allowing for plenty of room to accommodate many of the creature comforts we all like to take with us during a session.

Both the Cabrio One and Two-man versions provide a generous footprint, which, coupled with the bivvies’ design, creates plenty of usable internal space.

The bivvies incorporate aluminium frames with a hard-wearing textured powder coat finish, and the covers are manufactured from our fully waterproof/breathable polyester, which boasts a hydrostatic head in excess of 10,000mm. All the seams are tape sealed to ensure no water can penetrate the stitching and

the generous PVC skirt around the base creates an ample overlap to ensure you remain snug and dry throughout your stay.

Side and large rear windows feature mozzie-mesh panels, while zip-down blinds provide excellent airflow in hot weather. The door features a two-way ‘crash zip’ coupled with a mozzie window and a zip-in, clear, winterised PVC window that is extremely easy to fit.

Reinforced pegging points, ball-end elastics, frame support bars and a heavy-duty 480g PVC groundsheet complete the package, which is supplied with our ergonomically designed RH bivvy pegs to make these some of the best bivvies on the market at exceptional prices.

o complement our Cabrio Bivvies we have produced two different wrap options to fit both models: the standard Cabrio Wrap, which provides a porch giving around 400mm of storage space, or our Cabrio Euro Wrap, which features an additional internal pole and provides a massive one square metre of porch space, large enough to allow you to sit in it in bad weather.

Manufactured from polyester with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, all of the wraps feature matching windows that correspond to the main bivvy and each is supplied with extension groundsheets that slip under the main groundsheet, to create a seal to provide a clean and dry porch area.

he Cabrio Cookhouse has been designed to provide a dedicated kitchen and storage tent for anglers, especially those travelling abroad for long sessions.

Providing plenty of space for a couple of tables that could be used to sit your stove, cooker, gas fridge or even an oven on, it also doubles as the perfect storage tent for excess bait and tackle for those times where you cannot keep your car behind your swim.

Manufactured from polyester with a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, the fully tape-seamed rear features a large mozzie window with a zip-down blind as well as a removable PVC window.

A covered vent at the top and an access port allows a generator lead or gas-bottle hose into the tent from the outside.

The Cookhouse features a generous skirt around the base and a 480g PVC heavy-duty groundsheet and six bivvy pegs, all packed in a 600D Carryall.

he Cabrio Capsule is our clip-in inner dome that attaches to either the One or Two-Man Cabrio Bivvies via a series of suspended loops and buckles around the perimeter. It features a heavy-duty onepiece 480g base, which creates a sealed groundsheet that not only keeps the dome totally dry but also bug free!

The inner is a combination of a polyester ceiling and polyester/mozziemesh sides to promote good airflow during the summer when the Cabrio’s windows are opened, as well as helping to retain the warmth during the colder months.

Supplied with additional clips allowing the inner to be used even with the front removed, the Cabrio Capsule is supplied in a 600D carryall.

hese bivvy pegs feature our ergonomically designed handle, which has been shaped to make them more comfortable to screw into hard ground by hand.They also have a raised dome head, allowing them to be pushed home with your foot! Supplied in two lengths: eight inches for normal conditions and a longer 12in version for soft ground.

Supplied in roll-up pouches, we have also added a platform peg that features a stainless-steel screw for maximum strength, which is perfect for those who need to set up their bivvy on a platform or deck.
