1.1 CURRENT ROOM CONDITION Bedroom is the space where I most frequently use for work purposes.

So I choose my bedroom. I rented the apartment for school and the room was relatively new. The space layout of the bedroom is simple, with several basic facilities including bed, wardrobe, table, shelving, etc., but its placement is not very convenient to use. The bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling window facing east, which is full of sunlight during the day in clear weather, with a maximum brightness of around 250 lux.

There is a very beautiful bedside lamp at the head of the bed. The main lighting is four cold spotlights on the roof. The door of the room is facing north, and the door leading to the bathroom is facing west. As a whole space, I counted the bathroom and bedroom together.

1.2 DISSATISFACTORY ISSUES The bedroom serves as an area that offers rest, comfortable is main, throw aside the help of other establishment sex, the lamplight that room itself is appropriate and temperature is the most important, and the room has a lot of problems obviously need to improve. If I am a customer, first of all, the room should be improved according to the customer's needs and habits. First of all, I like to lie on the bed at night, watching mobile phones and reading books. So the lighting intensity of the bedside lamp is extremely important. At present, the bedside lamp in the room, his switch is at the door, which is very inconvenient. Secondly, the brightness of these three bulbs is extremely high. In the dark of night, the light is dazzling and uncomfortable. I tried to test its brightness at night, I'm not sure if it's accurate, but it's up to 1000lux, which is pretty bad for my vision and eyes.

In addition, as there is a book stand below, the cold wind will condense together in a close distance because it is too close to the tuyere, resulting in condensed water, which will be left from the shelf. Very bad for normal living.

1.3 REINTRODUCING COMFORT • First of all, entering the room, there is a switch on the wall, which increases the debugging of air conditioning temperature. Then, because the client needs to use the desk to study, we added a spotlight above the desk and a spotlight above the green plants next to it. This adds more comfort.

• Remove the bedside lamp and add a bedside lamp to the right side of the bed. Make the lighting softer and less dazzling. Add a light curtain lamp above the metope behind the head of a bed next, make the lamplight of whole room more downy.

And make the room feel more cozy.

• Add in the center of the room installs a absorb dome light, will serve as the main use illuminant of the room. And divide all light switches into two, one in the head of the bed, one in the doorway wall. This can be more convenient management switch, save electricity. The air conditioner is modified next to the wardrobe on the right. The wind doesn't blow against you all the time, and it keeps the room warm and comfortable.

• The two lights of toilet change and study to use the warm light like the lamp, the original cold light lamp, very dazzling, make a person uncomfortable.

CONCLUSION

The wall with the highest heat in my room is the wall of the French window. Because it faces the east and the sun is direct, the temperature is the highest. If I want to lower the temperature of the room, the best way is to lower the temperature of the wall.

PROBLEM STATEMENT • Although in computing, wall 1, which is French window this wall heat is not the highest, but because of is to the east, every morning to noon, the sun point-blank come in, is the indoor temperature is very high, like the (picture 1), but as a customer that I don't like completely shading, so like the night, also need to turn on the light, make a waste of unnecessary electricity.

After the curtains were closed, there was not enough light.

SOLUTION • First of all, as a customer, I don't want to run the air conditioner for a long time, the electricity cost is high and my health will be poor. So consider not to turn on the air conditioning to cool down, the strength of the sun is very important. Because the light is so intense, I need the light to be refracted, reflected, so as not to let too much sunlight into the room.

• And secondly, because I only need to be localized there's no strong light. So I need portability and mobility. And don't have to cover the whole window.

• In addition, my room has no beautiful elements, everything is mainly white, very monotonous, so I need something to decorate, make the whole invention look multi- functional. And because the window is inside the room, if the balcony of the living room is not open, even if the window is opened, it can not get good air circulation, still can not effectively heat dissipation, so I can add some plants to increase air quality.

PRODUCTION STEP The first step In auto cad above the drawing, confirm the size.

Draw the length and size on the paper and cut it out.

Take all the triangles and paste them

Make sure it can stand up and light can hit each side.

Wrap tin foil around each small refractor.（picture 2）

On the contrary, on the front, there are several small pockets bound with linen, of different sizes, which can be used to hold various things, especially the largest pocket can hold a small pot of green plants.

The overall effect is that it has a strap at the top that can be attached to the curtain hook instead of a lattice. The plants certainly add life to the whole room.

REFLECTION It was difficult but is fun. First of all I am satisfied with my invention, it achieved the effect I want. In this process, I met several problems. First, I chose the wrong material when making my invention, so I did not buy the right material. After nearly half of the work, I found that I made the wrong material, and then I bought the right material and changed it back. It cost me a lot of time and money.

When making the storage pockets, I found that I couldn't use a needle and thread on the board, but I didn't know how to make the pockets with glue. I had to use cardboard to try and make at least seven damaged pockets to make it look better. and then I can to put the pocket on my board. And I tried to find information, to figure out how to make the light refract better. And my invention actually works, so I'll put it in my room and use it after assignment submit.

In brief, I learned a lot from this invention, and I learned how to control the budget, control the cost.

I'll try harder and give a better presentation next time.!

Workshop My IAD project is a public exhibition area set up by the lake in the park, so daytime is business hours. Therefore, there is no need for a lot of lighting equipment, and during the day, it is more sunlight that comes in through the glass.

At the entrance on the second floor, there is an open-air balcony.

Considering the place with the most people, several chandeliers are placed here to provide lighting.

Entering the container can be a workshop. People can visit here, so bright lighting is needed, but it does not affect the interior design, so the use of lamps placed on the edge of the roof can not lose the beauty, but also maintain sufficient lighting.

Gallery

The second is a gallery, where there is a small balcony.

Considering people's attention, two chandeliers are set here to attract people's attention and tell visitors that they can walk here. Secondly, lamps are also placed outside the balcony for lighting.

Stair lamp Outdoor stairs consider the safety of walking at night.

Spotlights are installed on each step to prevent falling.

There is no air conditioning because it is outdoor.

B1.1: Building Services design justification Since the exhibition hall is well lit during the day, there is no need to worry about lighting, and at night, because the design is similar to a living room. So The living and dining rooms may work pretty well with about 25 to 50 lux.

The interior space of the whole second floor is 2.4m x 15m+2.4m x 6m = 50.4m² 25 x 50.4 = 1260 50 x 50.4 = 2520 1260 to 2520 lumens are the appropriate luminance for the first floor of the project.
