Mission

Rock Point School provides a close-knit, supportive educational community, where high school and postgraduate students who have experienced challenges can become successful academically, build selfconfidence, and develop skills for their future. Rock Point School offers academic, cultural, recreational, and spiritual opportunities that support intellectual growth and help students become their best selves.

Vision

Rock Point School graduates will move into their lives in thoughtful and deliberate ways, continue to explore who they are, have confident voices to express themselves, build on foundational academic skills, face challenges with ever-greater resilience, recognize life’s struggles and love themselves, and respect themselves and others.

Philosophy

At Rock Point School we believe that…

All young people yearn to become their best selves. Strong relationships build strong character. An inclusive community benefits all its members. Students thrive with the appropriate level of challenge. Each student succeeds in distinct ways.

Rock Point School guided my daughter in her personal, emotional, and academic growth by supporting her as she discovered resiliency and the tools within herself to make lasting change. All the teachers and staff honored her uniqueness, and how she learns, with the utmost respect while holding her accountable in ways that she felt safe moving forward. My daughter went from being afraid to put in effort and not being on a path to college to working harder than I’d ever seen her on her college applications….and getting into her top 3 choices. Rock Point School changed her life. And mine.
