PROGRAM GUIDE

GREETINGS It has been five years now since Rockmaraton left Malomvölgy, which was the home of the festival for 14 years.It was a difficult decision and many people disagreed.

What we realised was that the festival outgrew the venue and we could not provide a cultured setting anymore, so we had to move forward. We discovered Szalki-sziget and we instantly fell for it. This is the fifth year that we move here to Dunaújváros for two whole weeks to build and help operate this legendary festival of almost 30 years - for you guys. Rockmaraton started its journey from Lake Csörge, grew up in Malomvölgy but finally found its home at Szalki-sziget. It could not have been done, though, without the warm welcome of the locals. Maybe they even grew to like us here. You have to know that this festival would not be what it is without you.

With you we were reborn again like a phoenix and overcame the past difficulties together. Our goal is still the same: to unite a community and a scene that have been neglected unreasonably, and to have a really great rock-holiday where we can just leave the gray weekdays behind and have some fun!

All we ask from you, like we do every year, is to enjoy yourselves, take care of yourselves and each other!

THE ORGANISERS

POLICY Dear Visitor!

Purchase of a weekly or daily ticket entitles you to entry Rockmaraton festival, but only if you accept the festival’s current policy and you acknowledge that its compliance is subject to screening by the directors.

Entry:

Entrance to the festival can be made at the time and conditions of the redeemed ticket.

The pre-purchased tickets are exchanged for a wristband at the entry. The wristband (weekly or daily) must be worn at all times during validity. This will be monitored by the directors at the entry, the exit, and on the fields of the festival at all times.

Ticket information:

If you have a daily ticket, you can enter the festival on the current day from 1 am to 12:00 pm on the following day. With a weekly ticket, the visitor can stay at the festival site from the beginning of the event on July 8, 2019, from 10:00 am until the end of the event, that is until July 14, 2019. With a 3-day Weekday Pass, the visitor can stay at the festival site from July 8, 2019, from 10:00 am to July 13, 2019 12:00 pm. With a 3-day Weekend ticket, the visitor can stay at the festival venue on July 11, 2019, from 01:00 am to the end of the event, that is until July 14, 2019. We also offer shower facilities and tent opportunities for the visitor during the event. If your wristband is invalid, you have to leave the event area. The ticket / wristband cannot be transferred to another!

Only the hand-worn wristband is a valid entry ticket! The injured - overlapped, cut, larger than the wrist, etc. wristband is invalid! We are launching a procedure against ticket counterfeiters and contributors. We do not replace a lost or hand removed wristband. Children under 12 years of age can attend the event free of charge. Children under 14 years of age can only enter the area of the event with an escort and can only be accompanied by an escort.

Transport:

It is forbidden to park in the area without permission. To approach this event, please use the public transport facilities, the festival bus service and the official fixed-price taxi service! Stopping and waiting at the entrance of the festival is also forbidden.

What can and can’t you bring inside?

It is forbidden to enter objects of glass, cutting tools or any other objects that may harm the physical integrity of others. According to the law, you can not hold specially dangerous objects as in 8 cm larger cutting knife, spring knife, gouge spray, lead blade, etc. These are considered a violation of law. Please note that you can not bring inside a pointed, metal-finish umbrella, hammer, or gas bottle warmer. There is a fire lockout in the event! No alcoholic or refreshing drinks can be brought into the event.

You can bring inside unopened water in plastic bottles up to a maximum of two liters per person. You can bring inside food as long as it is not the amount of commercial use. Other products must be handed over to the security service at the chech-in at the entrance.

Lost and found

Please put your valuables in luggage storage to prevent theft and place found items there as well.

Pets

In the area of the event only gentle domestic animals („pets�, typically dogs, ferrets, certain rodent species) can be brought inside according to the general public concept and only by their owner. It is not recommended to bring pets into the event area, we recommend leaving them home. Pets can be entered in the event area with a valid vaccination certificate, a shark vaccination not older than one year, a unique identifier (a legible tattoo or microchip), a leash, a collar, a muzzle, a ticket with the telephone number of the host (available during the event). Existence of the above will be checked at the event entrance. By bringing in pets, the owner acknowledges that he or she is obliged to keep hygienic conditions appropriate to the animal, and by bringing in a dog or ferret, the owner shall acknowledge that he or she is obliged to keep it with a muzzle or a leash during the entire time of the event. The organizer reserves the right to specifically prohibit the import of the animal to the event.

Other important information

Sound and video recordings will be made at the event. Any participant who appears in the recordings can only be named with his / her own consent but may not claim any claim against the shooter or the event organizer. Taking photos is free, but the recording of images and sound from concerts and programs can only be done with the written consent of the organizers. It is forbidden to conduct any commercial or advertising activity without the written permission of the organizers in the event. We do not serve under the age of 18 and drinkers with alcoholic beverages in the buffets!

Please note that the consumption of narcotics is prohibited in the area of the event according to the laws in force. Please pay close attention to the natural values and do not litter! The organizers are not responsible for any damages that may arise in people or material values. On the free beach of the Szalki Island, you should be able to bathe only at your own risk, free from alcohol and no alcohol-related conditions. There is a luggage storage facility at the event. The security service only accepts limited liability for items placed here. We cannot take responsibility for the values left elsewhere, so we recommend using the preservatives! The event will be held in case of bad weather.

TRANSPORT FESTIVAL BUS It’s really easy to get to and from the festival (e.g. from the train station) using our festival bus. This isalso a safe way for you to get back to your accommodation in Dunaújváros (dormitory or hotel). You can buy single tickets and a weekly bus pass as well on the bus.

The bus departs from the Railway Station Dunaújváros and arrives at Szalki-Sziget (Szalki Island) and vice versa.

NEW STORAGE LOCKERS THIS YEAR! You can rent the SafeBox lockers for a fix period of time. Size M: smaller locker, for a small bag, your phone or tablet; size L: perfect for for larger bags. Each locker is equipped to charge one phone or tablet.

You will receive a key, which will grant access to the locker as many times as you want - in the given period of time.

RENTAL FEE:

Size M - 25cm wide - 14cm high - 38cm deep 1 day - 1600 Ft 3 days - 4500 Ft 6 days - 8000 Ft

Size L - 25cm wide - 45cm high - 38cm deep 1 day - 1900 Ft 3 days - 5100 Ft 6 days - 9100 Ft

Your belongings left at the lockers will be kept safe 24/7 by SafoBox staff. The rental fee also includes insurance against any damage to your stuff.

These lockers will operate simultaneously with the old one: you can still use that one, just visit the usual place.
