When it comes to repairs, there’s an entire spectrum of things to look out for. Sometimes there are obvious repairs to be made, like cracked roof tiles, a broken pool pump, or a faulty AC unit. Other issues might require a home inspection to discover. However you find the issues, it’s important that they are repaired by a licensed and insured contractor.

Preparing your luxury home for sale often requires the help of a professional home stager—someone who knows how to make an empty or cluttered house feel like a livable home. A large investment in staging is not always necessary, but cases that require absolutely no staging are usually rare. Some sellers have beautiful homes and new furniture, so the staging process might be minimal, only requiring the removal of clutter, a few rearrangements, or perhaps a splash of color.

When we advise our clients to clean their home, we don’t mean a basic, everyday cleaning. Before your home is photographed, listed, and shown, it needs to be deep-cleaned. This includes washing the windows, pressurewashing the garage floors, and possibly steam-cleaning the carpets. Whether you want to hire a professional maid service or put in the elbow grease yourself, everything needs to look amazing, smell fresh, and feel new.
