THE 0² ARENA Greenwich

When you make a stop at the underground station called North Greenwich you should really take a look at the biggest dome building of the world. Even when you’re not going to a crazy concert or something, it’s still an amazing building to just watch from outside when it’s dark or bright. It’s the busiest music arena in terms of ticket sales so it stands above famous arenas like Madison Square Garden and the Manchester Arena. When you’re a lucky one who visits London just in time when there’s a great concert or sports tournament, you can’t miss a big event like that in the insane atmosphere of the former Millennium Dome.

Big artists like Drake, Bon Jovi, Madonna and Prince performed there before. Last mentioned even performed 21 times in a row.

BANKSY ART

Bruton Lane, Mayfair

Artist’s are always a bit quirky but Banksy is such a special artist that we still don’t even know who he is. Back in 2011 a new Banksy piece was found. It captures a woman falling to the ground while clutching her shopping cart full of goods.

Like most of Banksy’s work, this piece welcomes political and social discussion from both sides of the spectrum while prompting the unavoidable question: shop till you drop?

This one at the Bruton Lane isn’t Banksy’s only piece in London. When walking through Shoreditch and other creative districts you’ll find a few more of his great works, all free to visit and photograph. Each with another interesting message, what always will be characteristic for his pieces.

TATE MODERN Southwark

The national museum of international modern art is a must to visit when you’re in London. The collection at Tate Modern includes all the major modern art movements. It features Picasso and Matisse, Rothko, Dali, Ernst and Mirò, etc. Pop art has its place, including works of Lichtenstein and Warhol, as does Minimal art and Conceptual art.

Near the museum you can also find the infamous millennium footbridge, an impressive piece of modern engineering. The most fun of all is that visiting the gallery is free for everyone. You can also choose to walk through the pieces of art with an audio-guide.

This will help you to learn about all the ins and outs of the works at your own pace.

Chinatown London is a great place filled with a lot of excitement and information. You can get a rich history lesson, great deals and experience the amazing Chinese food. No matter what time of the year, it will always be a great pleasure to walk through these streets full of culture.

When you’ve crossed all these interesting Chinese looking streets, you really should take a 5/10 minutes long walk to Peter St. where you’ll find the one and only Supreme store of London. For those who don’t know, it’s a must or every fashion addict to take a look and catch some limited pieces of their clothing line. You’ll also find a lot of creative Asian people here, who really know how to rock fashion these days.

PRIMROSE HILL Primrose Hill

Primrose Hill is regarded as one of the most beautiful viewpoints in North London.

It became this because of it's almost 360° degree viewpoint over the city and the scale of panorama it offers. It's also a place where people find solitude to be alone with their thoughts and it has a quality of silence found nowhere else in the English capital. During the summer months the banks of the hill become populated with families and young people who take out picnics to enjoy the open space and the glorious views over London town. If you’re lucky you’ll also hear the tropical birds of London's famous Zoo filling the air with their songs. Picture this place and drop it on your Instagram story. No one would believe that you’re in London at that moment!

CAMDEN MARKET Camden

Welcome to London's Favourite Market The Camden market has been going on for well over thirty years, and in these times it's undergone some enormous changes. It’s located in North London and got over 100.000 visitors each day. The market is well known for its facades and that’s a great inspiration for many photographers. These facades are very mainstream, but at the west side of the town is a street called Hartland Road, that isn’t that mainstream. It’s very quiet but at least as beautiful as those all time pictured facades.

You’ve got to take a look at the 15 amazing painted houses, each in a different pastel color. Nearby is also Regents Park village, the favorite home for artists and creatives through Camden's rich history.
