raised for St Francis Hospice through a relay by 30 employees of the Swords-based facilities management company Noonan. The participants recently ran 10km each of the 130km route of the Grand Canal from Shannon Harbour to Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock to fundraise for fitting out a new in-patient’s room for the hospice. They have surpassed their target of raising €10,000.
Wright Group venues to create 100 jobs Over €800,000 invested in Hogs and Heifers Club and Baroque Club

A jobs boost has been announced with the creation of 100 jobs in Swords by The Wright Bar Group. The announcement was made by Michael JF Wright
after the group invested over €800,000 into two new venues – Hogs and Heifers Club and Baroque Club. Hogs and Heifers, a 7,000 sq ft gastro pub located on South Quarter at the Airside Retail Park, will officially
open on November 29. The second venture, Baroque Club, will be located in a secret gallery at the renowned Wright Venue, also at the Airside Retail Park and is set to open on November 30.
Commenting on the announcement Wright said: “The Wright Bar Group has gone from strength to strength and I am thrilled to announce our most recent expansion.” Full Story on Page 5
