Networking together to build better businesses THERE was a great turnout at the second Fingal Enterprising Women networking event recently, which saw entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the area get together at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin Airport. Regina Behan, Coppertops; Sarah Cundhill, Heavenly Hair and Margaret Miller, Pink Lady Cleaning Services were among the many business ladies at the event, which was hosted by UTV Ireland’s Alison Comyn. A number of guests gave some great insights as part of a panel discussion, providing plenty of anecdotal and practical insights into growing businesses, developing networks and developing strategies for the year ahead.

FINE Gael are certain to win one, if not two seats in Fingal, along with Deputy Clare Daly (Ind) and Fianna Fail in the upcoming General Election, according to broadcaster Vincent
Browne. Browne gave his forecast of the election to The Gazette ahead of TV3’s The People’s Debate, with the broadcaster due to visit and record a show in Fingal on Monday, January 11.
Constituents of Fingal are invited to call TDs to account, querying them on what they are promising their constituents ahead of the election. However, no Government TDs will be taking part in the debate.
Browne spoke to The Gazette saying he was looking forward to it as he believed Fingal was a very interesting constituency, and he hoped to see a good turnout of local people. Full Story on Page 2
