Bio-tech plant opens main office in Swords Edina, a renewable energy power specialist, praised for ‘leading the way’

THE new group headquarters of renewable energy power generation specialists Edina was officially opened by Minister of State for the

bio-energy sector, Fergus O’Dowd, at Swords Business Park recently. The opening of the site, which is home to 40 staff, doubled up as a showcase for local organisations, com-

panies and other interested parties to learn about anaerobic digestion – a process to create energy from organic waste – and to promote Irish technological solutions. Cllr Darragh Butler (FF)

welcomed the opening, saying: “It is great to see an Irish-based renewable energy power generation company leading the way across Europe and the world.” Full Story on Page 2
