Cricket festival to draw 11,000 Natalie Burke
Excitement has been mounting in the local community with Malahide set to attract a crowd of approximately 11,000 people next week. Malahide will host its first ever international cricket match between Ireland and England on its newlydeveloped cricket grounds at Malahide Cricket Club. With crowds expected to arrive ahead of the match

Facing up to new ‘schoolbags’: St Joseph’s pupils work with iPads FINGAL students from St Joseph’s
Secondary School in Rush were delighted to show off their new “schoolbags” at The Helix recently – iPads that use digital textbooks and materials in place of the traditional stuffed-to-bursting schoolbag.
More than 100 students at the school have availed of its new digital schoolbag programme, organised with digital learning specialists Wriggle, who have rolled-out similar schemes at 50 schools for more than 5,000 students across the country.
