Health centre lease is signed  IAN BEGLEY

THE HSE recently signed a lease for a brand-new, state-of-the-art primary care centre in Ballyowen, Lucan. The Balloyowen primary care centre will have GPs, physios, counsellors and other medical professionals available to serve the needs of the Lucan community. The centre will be located beside The Penny Hill pub, close to the

Ben Dunne gym, and it is hoped that the planning will commence in two months, with construction to begin in mid-2015. Welcoming the news, Deputy Robert Dowds (Lab) said: “This new health centre will make a big difference in people’s lives in Lucan and I think the Lucan community deserves nothing less than the very best health-care facilities that can be provided.” Full Story on Page 2
