60 jobs served up at ‘McPark’ Bairbre Ni Bhraonain
A NEW McDonald’s outlet – with drive-thru – in Carrickmines is creating 60 jobs for the area. The fast-food outlet will be staffed 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and represents an investment of €2m. It also features a number of self-service kiosks. Operator and owner James Perry said: “We are delighted to welcome 60 new enthusiastic local staff to the McDonald’s team and we look for-
ward to welcoming customers from all over south Dublin.” The new McDonald’s is located in The Park, Carrickmines – a retail and commercial facility situated just off the M50. Cllr Gerry Horkan (FF) said: “I think it’s fantastic and it’s great to see The Park becoming so successful. It’s great that jobs are being created there and that our county is facilitating new jobs.” Full Story on Page 6
