The De La Salle Bridge Club has announced the winners of their The Graham Trophy Team of Four competition. Nuala Corrigan, Ftatia McLoughlin, Maureen Taylor, and club president Teresa Walker scooped the elegant award thanks to their many years’ experience playing bridge; particularly Maureen, who has been in this club for 30 years. New park and public space for Sandyford Council reveals plans for community site by St Benildus Sports Grounds

A NEW park and public space for locals in the Sandyford area are in the preliminary planning stages, it was revealed by
Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council at a recent Dundrum Area Committee meeting. The park will be part of the Public Open Space plan and will be on some coun-
cil-owned land beside St Benildus Sports Grounds, as well as on the sports grounds themselves, owned by De La Salle Brothers. St Benildus Park will incorporate Naomh Olaf
GAA pitches and feature a playground, outdoor gym equipment and pathways. Work is proposed to start on these improvements in late 2015. Full Story on Page 2
