end of an era as western marina shop relocates THERE was an air of mystery during the final day of trading for Western Marine at Bulloch Harbour last weekend – its final day at its longstanding premises, that is, as the Dalkey store is relocating to a new home for the next stage in its life. With its next address yet to be revealed, there was an upbeat atmosphere at the store as the staff, customers and wellwishers called in for a final shop. Fine Gael confirmed that the role is being shared between Cllr Bailey and Cllr Marie Baker. Speaking to The Gazette, Deputy Bailey said: “Both councillors are 12 years on Dun Laoghaire Rathdow n-
County Council, have vast experience and knowledge of the constituency. “I think the word ‘nepotism’ is used too freely.” However, Cllr Karl Gill (PBP) criticised Deputy Bailey’s decision to hire Cllrs Bailey and Baker to
