Residents submit changes to area plan Submissions from St Vincent’s Park seek alteration to Blackrock draft
bairbre ni bhraonain
RESIDENTS in St Vincent’s Park have submitted proposals on the latest Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for Blackrock, with particular attention paid to the height and scale of
any future buildings at St Teresa’s, Dunardagh and Cluain Mhuire. Residents are proposing the draft LAP be altered to limit the height of future development to a maximum of three storeys and reduce the proposed den-
sity contained in the draft plan. The residents also proposed instituting a oneway system with an exit or entrance at the gates of St Vincent’s and St Louise’s Park. However, An Cathao-
irleach Marie Baker said proposing a one-way system is “too premature” at this stage. Submissions on the draft Blackrock LAP closed on October 15. Full Story on Page 7
