Funding for care centre granted IAN BEGLEY
A NEW healthcare centre that has long been sought for Rowlagh, north Clondalkin is being granted funding by the Government and is expected to be built by 2016. The care centre, which will cost €4.2 million to build and will cover an area of 1,400 sq m, will serve the catchment area of Rowlagh, Neilstown and Quarryvale. A spokesperson for the HSE said
that the lands at Collinstown Park Community College are favourable for its location. The new centre will contain services such as GPs, counsellors, physios, occupational therapists and other medical professionals. Labour TD Robert Dowds said: “I am absolutely delighted that the Government has approved the money for a brand new health centre to be built in Rowlagh.” Full Story on Page 8
