Cyclists all but banned from seven streets
EMMA NOLAN SEVEN city-centre routes are now off-limits to cyclists because the National Transport Authority has deemed them unsafe for bike users. The news comes as several cyclists complained that gardai had prevented them from riding down Dawson St. The seven streets include major routes through the city centre such as Grafton Street, Nassau Street, Dawson Street and College Street. The NTA is to develop alternative city routes for bike users, including two-way lanes through College Green. Full Story on Page 2
