Dr.Wagner Is Leaving VVC By Jasmine Ramos Reporter
Dr. Roger Wagner is the Superintendent and President of Victor Valley College (VVC). Wagner has been the president for over four years and will be retiring in Fall of 2018. Dr. Wagner served 20 active years in the Air Force and 21 years as a police officer. As the president of VVC, Wagner is responsible to overseeing the colleges procedures, Sharing of government process and budget accreditation. “In order to do a great job one has to stay organized.” Wagner's Executive Secretary, Victoria Martinelli, tries to keep him organized as much as possible. Most of the time he keeps eve-
rything in a calendar; it helps him stay organized and if a higher priority comes in, he can easily move dates around. He finds ways to stay ahead of everything. When budgeting comes around, he tries to keep his attention mostly on the budget and nothing else.
Wagner loves working with all his employees and feels honored to have had the opportunity to have worked with them. His employees have cheered him on throughout his four years at VVC, and he will take wonderful memories with him. Wagner encourages everyone to work hard after he has left. “Wagner is going to be truly missed, I worked with him for four years and he's been amazing,” says Martinelli. When Wagner first came to VVC the college was in need of help because no one was solving the school’s budget problems and no type of leadership was in place. Continued on page 4...

With the organization, Revive Our Old Town (R.O.O.T), Yeh included the things that make up Old Town, and what the organization is trying to do in order to revamp the area.
