Jordan Peele’s Us Demands To Be Seen

New VVC Football Stadium and Conference Center By: Edward Freer Reporter

Victor Valley College (VVC) Board of Trustees met on March 12thr regarding a new stadium and conference center on the campus. According to Charity Lindsey of VVC Marketing and Public Relations Department, during the meeting, Steve Garcia, the Director of Facilities Construction and Contracts at VVC, laid out the plans for the new project. According to Lindsey, the stadium will hold 5,000 people with 3,500 seats on the home side of the field

Among all the other majors to choose from, there stands one that is generally less noticed by students entering college: Anthropology. Us marks horror/comedy icon Jordan Peele’s return to the genre that changed the world's perception of who he was and what he was capable of, forever. Get Out debuted on February 24, 2017, introducing the populace to a daring new visionary in the world of horror cinema in the form of writer/director Jordan Peele. Many had previously experienced several of Peele’s talents on his popular Comedy Central television series, Key & Peele, as well as several other comedy-focused projects. Few had any idea what was in store for them when Peele's brainchild came out. Get Out managed to gross over 56 times its budget and went on to earn four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay to Jordan Peele. This incredible success led to huge expectations for whatever project Jordan Peele chose to do next. Now, two years later, his next cinematic endeavor has taken to theaters in the form of Us.
