Dear Comrades I hope that you and your families have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Now we start a new year. It was a good year at Post 10147, but sadly we lost several of our good members and friends. This coming year will be a busy one. We have a lot on our schedule. Pleases read the calendar for 2014 in this newsletter for dates and times. Our big event is scheduled for April 22, 2014. By popular demand, we are bringing back the Central Florida Rat Pack. It is a new show and a good one. In addition to the show there will be dancing and a dinner. We are starting now to sell tickets for a drawing.. First prize will be a large slim screen TV, 1080P with HD. The second prize will be a smaller TV plus there will be other prizes. Seating will be first come, first served. Although there is not a bad seat in the house. In closing please pray for our service men and women to come home safely to their families. United we stand and God bless America. DONATIONS WANTED If you have any military items you would like to donate to the Post museum such as: Uniforms, guns, knives, patches, insignias, etc, please bring items to the Post or call and we will arrange a pickup date. All donated items will be displayed with the name of the donor. Soap, shampoo, etc from hotels, for the VA Nursing home and for poor children. Glasses for the needy . Tabs from aluminum cans for the tots of the Arnold Palmer Hospital.
