Sayde & Austin’s wedding was a rich cultural melting pot mixture that celebrated both her Lebanese heritage and his North Carolinian American background. From a reception entrance marked with the fanfare of Lebanese drumming accompanied by traditional dabke dancing, to DJ Victor of Elegant Soiree’s masterful song selections spanning a wide array of genres and tastes, you felt the complete blending of cultures in this wedding
Their wedding was to me one of the greatest examples of hyper-personalization, a trend we’ve recently been seeing in weddings. When I got married last April, I definitely took notes from them and found ways to make the wedding an event worth attending, but a day super personalized to me and my wife’s individual identies, and our new identity as a couple
To me, that’s what it means to win on your wedding day.
