The Squadron enjoys enviable facilities, with a spacious and multi-functional clubhouse building that has benefitted from a multi-million-dollar refurbishment over the years. It enjoys a location and exquisite views to match, situated on prime real estate at the foot of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

There are rooms perfect for every occasion, including:

Quarterdeck

Situated on the second floor, the Quarterdeck showcases elevated views over the Westhaven Marina, the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland City and the Sky Tower.

Dinghy Locker

A striking bar with timber floors, and large glass doors opens out to an extensive deck at the water’s edge of the marina. The Dinghy Locker boasts spectacular views of the harbour, marina and city. Primarily dedicated to club racing events, the Dinghy Locker is also available for private hire and is ideal for functions ranging from BBQs, cocktail & dinner parties, as well as corporate off-site meetings.

Squadron Ballroom

With its nautical theme, this is a very versatile room with an open atrium and extended patio. This spacious room is popular for conferences as well as large scale dinners or cocktail parties.

Members Bar

Conveniently located on the start line for Harbour Races, the Members Bar has an amazing outlook of the Auckland Harbour and Harbour Bridge. It boasts a fantastic balcony with outdoor seating surrounding both sides of the bar so members can enjoy the sunshine all year round. The Members Bar is open every day from 12:00pm and features a great casual menu and wine list, which can be viewed on our website.

Members’ Lounge

The Uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge and the Waitemata Harbour make this a very special room, convenient for board meetings, breakfast presentations, or smaller cocktail and dinners.

Our Commodore’s Room is ideal for meetings, cocktail and dinner functions. Its L-shaped space offers the flexibility of a breakout area, or a casual stand-up area for coffee breaks or drinks.

Offering spectacular views over the Harbour Bridge and catching the allday sun through the large north-facing windows, this room is warm and inviting all year round. The only room located on the third level, it offers both privacy and prestige, suitable for board meetings or private dining.

Committee Room

For a long time, this has been reserved for historic club events. From board meetings and seminars to small private dinners or cocktail parties, this room is sure to impress.

The Engine Room

The Engine Room is only available to Full Squadron Members for small meetings of up to 6 and is free to book for one hour at a time.
