nterested in an amenity-rich, low-maintenance lifestyle — often in a highly walkable location? A new condo or townhome could be what fits your proverbial bill.

Sue Goodrich, vice president of sales and marketing for Cachet Homes, said that buyers looking for this type of housing are often busy professionals who just want to relax when they’re home. “In addition, we see a lot of move-down buyers who want to travel and come and go without the worry of exterior maintenance,� she said. “They also love having a pool area to socialize with their neighbors and they like having friends to hang out with when they’re home.�

Andrew Hickey, developer for Serenity at Fulton Ranch in Chandler, said that they also see a lot of second-home buyers and empty-nesters. “The common trait amongst our buyers,� he said, “is that they value their time and desire a low-maintenance lifestyle.�
