LANGUAGE ACCESS QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
CulturaLink provides interpretation services that bridges the gap between individuals with communication barriers and healthcare providers. We offer on-site, over-the-phone, video remote interpretation services along with document translation services. WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
CulturaLink offers highly trained, qualified medical interpreters in 20 languages over video and 200+ languages over audio. Document translation services are also available in over 200 languages.
OVER-THE-PHONE / Audio Interpretation (OPI) Our services are a simple phone call away and available 24x7x365. DIALING FROM ANY PHONE
Dial the designated phone interpreting number associated with your facility and follow the prompts. If you are using an iMobile device please refer to the iMobile QRG.
1. SELECT LANGUAGE Once prompted, select the language desired from the language list or press 0 for operator assistance.
2. PROVIDE DETAILS Provide your Access Code, your name and patient's medical record number. Access

ON-SITE Interpretation (OSI) On-site or in-person interpreters can be scheduled in advance, or requested for on demand situations through the use of CulturaLink’s toll-free number. Interpreters can also be requested via email. SCHEDULE BY PHONE From any phone or mobile device, dial 888-695-1001 and press option 1 for a Language Services Coordinator. SCHEDULE BY EMAIL Email your interpreter request to requests@theculturalink.com 1. COMPLETE REQUEST Submit an interpreter request via one of the scheduling methods available to your organization.
2. PROVIDE DETAILS Be prepared to provide information on the language needed, as well as facility and department details for reporting purposes.
3. DOCUMENT Interpreter’s ID# or name in the medical record and sign the interpretation completion form provided by interpreter.
