The Rogers Lowell Chamber is now looking for volunteers to serve on its team of Chamber Ambassadors in 2026.

Consisting of volunteers from our membership, Chamber Ambassadors donate their time to serve the community through Chamber events and programs.

Ambassador Opportunities:

Beginning in January of each year, Ambassadors serve a term of one calendar year

Chance to represent company at all official Ambassador-Chamber related functions

Eligible to receive recognition as Ambassador of the Quarter or Ambassador of the Year

"Being a Chamber Ambassador has connected me with the people who make our community what it is. FORT SMITH INDUSTRY TOUR

The Rogers Lowell Chamber joined members of the 3rd District Caucus in Fort Smith on Oct. 27 for a tour featuring varying industries in military, education and manufacturing.

Members of the 3rd District Caucus and Sara Lynn Gieger, the Rogers Lowell Chamber's Vice President of Government Affairs, visited the United States Marshals Museum, Ebbing Air National Guard Base, the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as Umarex USA and Walther Arms.

This tour is part of the Chamber's mission to serve as the regional link between business and government.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & BUSINESS

The Rogers Lowell Chamber hosted an educational forum on artificial Intelligence on Nov 7 to prepare local businesses for the opportunities and challenges ahead related to AI

Several speakers shared their insights including Ted J Song, MDiv, PhD with John Brown University and Chris Lynch with NorthWest Arkansas Community College

"Hosting events like helps create conversations that matter most to our local business community," said Sara Lynn Geiger, MPA, Vice President of Government Affairs at the Rogers Lowell Chamber. •

CIVICS BEE CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to Lincoln Junior High School student, Maddie Stokes, for representing Arkansas in the National Civics Bee Championship in Washington D.C. on Nov. 11.

Out of a total of 39 students, Maddie advanced to the top 10, where she discussed her essay topic focused on implementing orchestra in local education systems across Arkansas •

LEADERSHIPDEVELOPMENT WITHAPURPOSE

Members of Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders joined Northwest Arkansas Food Bank Nov. 7 for Food Bank Volunteer Day.

Volunteers assisted with packing food for local pantries and community members in need to gain a deeper understanding of food insecurity in Northwest Arkansas.

Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders (NWAEL) is a program of the Rogers Lowell Chamber, dedicated to supporting young professionals across the region through leadership development and networking opportunities.

TEACHING TRAVEL

Destination Rogers Vice President of Sales, Luke Wiggins, CDME, spoke to a total of 700 students at Pea Ridge School District on Nov. 4 to highlight career paths in travel and tourism.

"I try to connect memories students might have about their own travel experiences with the work our industry does to help make those moments happen," said Wiggins. "Seeing students smile as they remember trips they've been on is always rewarding."

Destination Rogers is a division of the Rogers Lowell Chamber and serves as the official destination marketing organization for Rogers. •

HOSPITALITY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Destination Rogers recently hosted graduate students from the University of Arkansas Hospitality Management Program for a discussion aimed at solving current challenges in the tourism and hospitality industry

Through a group presentation, the students outlined a marketing toolkit created for local hoteliers, featuring social media templates, video production guidelines, branding strategy all designed to boost visibility and drive hotel room bookings.

"Collaboration with organizations like Destination Rogers gives our students an invaluable opportunity to balance academics with practical experience through a servicelearning project," said Nicholas Johnston, Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management at the University of Arkansas.

The Rogers Lowell Chamber's Sporting Clays Classic brought the local business community together over some friendly competition to support the Chamber's mission work at Gunsmoke Sporting Clays on Nov. 14.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TOUR

Alongside the Rogers Lowell Chamber, Flintco, LLC hosted more than 50 students from the Rogers Public Schools Launch Program at its project site located at Oakdale Junior High School on Nov. 12.

Students heard from the project’s superintendent and construction manager, who discussed pathways to construction careers in Northwest Arkansas – along with job site processes and safety procedures.

"Being able to work with partners like Flintco is vital to exposing the next generation of our workforce to careers that are both in high demand, and are high paying, right here in Rogers and Lowell," said Jeremy Biggs, Rogers Lowell Chamber Vice President of Economic Development. •
