Ferntea (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd was incorporated in 1995 in Malaysia and has been in business for more than 24 years . Its primary business was distribution of tea, later it ventured into other food products. The company in 1997 ventured into the consumer chocolates business under a co-venture manufacturing agreement with a leading manufacturer. In 2010, the company decided to manufacture its own chocolate and within a time period of two years, it is able to produces its own requirements. The company’s core business now is manufacturing of chocolate products, Malted chocolate drinks and Fruit Cakes for both local and export markets.
We have a good customer base (Chain stores, hypermarkets, Super markets, Whole sellers, Duty free shops, Convenient stores and Restaurants) for the distribution of our products in Malaysia. We also exporting our products to Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, South Korea, India and Ghana.
DISTRIBUTION
OUR PRODUCTS Our products include chocolates under four brand names “Barnsberry ” “Topps” “Lactor” “Renazon” . These chocolates are available in different designs, sizes and weights. We are also manufacturing industrial chocolate for bakers to be used in cakes, biscuits and ice cream. We import tea from different countries Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, and blend it with our own formulation with expertise from Sri Lanka. We also produce and distribute Tea, Coffee, Malted Chocolate. We have introduced a Malt drink under the brand name “Maltvita” and Fruit Cakes under Brand name of “Sunrise Home Bakery” . We also deals in Cocoa powder, cocoa premix and cocoa butter substitute.
