A 60-page black & white photography zine highlighting the cycling community in Vancouver, BC
Fixed is a collective of photographs cycling around the Vancouver area. The title “fixed“ comes from the type of bike: a fixed gear bike. Inspired by Ed Templeton’s work, this is a visual diary. Like Templeton’s most photos are candid and in the moment. All photos are in black and white because it removes any distraction of color and helps the viewer focus on other aspects of the photo. Within the zine, there is also excerpts and information on what it feels like to ride a fixed gear bike, facts and captions on the bridges that have been photographed and ridden.
