Friends and Neighbors, As we head into the holiday season, let's keep a few things in mind to ensure a wonderful next few months for all. Please watch your speed in our community; we have many young children living in our neighborhood. Also, please make sure you are not parking on the road, but rather on your driveway. If you cannot, your vehicle should have all four tires off the pavement; our road is not wide enough to accommodate three vehicles. Finally, during this season there is often larger collections of trash, please ensure your trash bins are secure so that our trail and common areas are not littered with holiday wrapping and Black Friday boxes. I hope that everyone has a safe and happy winter.
Holiday Schedule for Trash Pick-up There will be no trash pick up on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day as they both fall on Thursdays. After the holidays, American Disposal will pick up Christmas trees on Thursdays only. Do not put your tree on the curb for a Monday collection. Please remember to remove all decoration and do not bag the tree.
Septic Inspection Service Dominion Septic will become the service providers for septic systems beginning in March. Expect to hear from them about setting up an inspection of your system before then. Technicians will be meeting with all homeowners to inspect and review the current state of your equipment.
Snow Removal VDOT will take care of snow removal for all streets that have been turned over to the county. The remaining streets, located in phases 2 and 3 will be serviced by Muller Erosion & Site Services, Inc.
Speed Limits! Please remember the speed limits in the community. There have been reports of residents driving very fast along Mill Valley Drive.
