De Rimini suivre la via Corianese sur environ 8 km, de Riccione parcourir via Veneto jusqu’à via Corianese, au croisement tourner à gauche.

Le parcours se développe le long de crêtes qui, lors de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, virent de nouveau s’affronter les armées alliées d’Alexander et les allemandes de Kesserling. C’est en effet ici qu’eurent lieu, à la fin de l’été 1944, deux sanglantes batailles (première et seconde bataille de Coriano) qui, de victoire assurée pour les Alliés se transformèrent en un échec terrible et déterminant pour toute l’offensive de la ligne Gothique. Le parcours présente d’innombrables montées et descentes, sans un mètre de plaine, et serpente dans les territoires communaux de Coriano et de Montecolombo. Partir de piazza Mazzini, devant la mairie de Coriano, et se diriger vers la localité de Castelleale (forteresse médiévale). La laisser sur la droite parcourant un chemin de terre, puis toujours sur terrain naturel varié, rejoindre le château de San Savino au km 8. Continuant sur terrain varié, parmi vignes, champs de blé et d’oliviers, monter vers la route départementale qui relie Croce à Montecolombo. Nous sommes dans le point le plus élevé du parcours et au km 14 commence une descente d’un peu plus d’un kilomètre. A la fin de celle-ci, une série de montées et descentes d’environ 8 km sur terrain varié, toujours au milieu des vignes et des oliviers et traversant les localités de Cà Baffoni, Cà Giovanetti, Salina Piccola et Cà Saporetti, nous ramène à Coriano.

This itinerary stretches along a crest of land that was the scene of horrific battles during the Second World War between Alexander’s Allied forces and German troops under Kesserling. During the summer of 1944, two bloody battles were fought here (the first and second battles of Coriano) that initially looked like being a sure victory for the Allied forces but turned out to be a bitter setback that would prove decisive in the entire Gothic Line offensive.

The itinerary, which crosses the municipal territories of Coriano and Montecolombo, presents a series of climbs and descents without a single stretch of flatland. It begins in Piazza Mazzini in front of Coriano Town Hall before heading towards the village of Castelleale (a medieval fortress). Leaving the village behind on the right, the itinerary follows a dirt track and then continues off-road to San Savino Castle at 8 km. It proceeds off-road through vineyards, wheat fields and olive groves before heading uphill towards the PR that links Croce and Montecolombo. This is the highest point of the itinerary and the long descent begins at 14 km. After this long downhill stretch there are a series of climbs and descents off-road and in just under 8 km, again passing through vineyards and olive groves as well as the villages of Cà Baffoni, Cà Giovanetti, Salina Piccola and Cà Saporetti, the itinerary leads back to Coriano.

The itinerary covers the entire length of the crest of hill that leads from Marano Park to the restored Castle of Albereto. It crosses olive groves, vineyards and stud farms and offers breathtakingly beautiful views of the coast. The first part of the itinerary is entirely uphill before descending along the Marano Torrent cycle path as far as the park itself where it ends. The itinerary crosses the municipalities of Coriano and Montescudo along the Marano Valley. It is a fairly short itinerary, initially very demanding and almost entirely off-road.

On departure it heads towards San Marino and after a few metres, turns left along a short but steep climb on asphalt before turning onto a dirt track running alongside a stud farm. This is the village of Cavallino and at 2.7 km a sharp bend leads into a field of olive groves and then dense brushwood that ends at 3.6 km. After a few hundred metres there is a climb that leads to Albereto in the municipality of Montescudo. Just after the castle (7 km) a downhill stretch begins that ends at 8.8 km. The itinerary now leads downhill along the Marano cycle path towards the arrival and after a couple of fords, stretches in dense brushwood and numerous bends, returns to the park where it began.

From Rimini follow Via Montescudo, in the village of Pian delle Pieve turn right towards Faetano. Marano Park is about 3 km away on the right.

De Rimini prendre la via Montescudo, dans la localité Pian delle Pieve tourner à droite pour Faetano, après environ 3 km sur la droite se trouve le parc du Marano L’itinéraire serpente sur toute sa longueur le long de la crête qui conduit du parc du torrent Marano au château restauré de Albereto.

Il monte pendant toute la première partie du tracé sans interruption à travers des oliveraies, des vignes et des élevages de chevaux offrant des panoramas magnifiques de la rivière puis redescend le long de la piste cyclable du torrent Marano jusqu’au parc où le tour prend fin. Le parcours traverse les communes de Coriano et de Montescudo le long de la vallée du Marano. Il est court, très difficile dans sa première partie, et presque totalement sur terrain naturel varié. Partir en direction de Saint-Marin et tourner à gauche après quelques mètres dans une courte montée asphaltée aux pentes importantes pour s’engager ensuite sur un sentier longeant un élevage de chevaux. Nous sommes dans la localité de Cavallino et au km 2,7, un virage en coude nous conduit dans un champ d’oliviers et dans un beau sous-bois qui finit au km 3,6. Après quelques centaines de m commence la montée pour la localité de Albereto, dans la commune de Montescudo. Après le château (km 7) début de la descente terminant au km 8,8. A présent le parcours suit une légère descente, pour arriver sur la piste cyclable du Marano et après une paire de gués, quelques passages en sous-bois et de nombreux virages, se termine dans le parc aménagé du départ.

De Rimini suivre la via Corianese sur environ 8 km, de Riccione parcourir via Veneto jusqu’à via Corianese, au croisement tourner à gauche.

Ce parcours est l’un des plus beaux et des plus difficiles de la province de Rimini. Il part de la commune de Coriano, traverse le village de Montecolombo, avec son château et l’ancien lavoir restauré, pour revenir à Coriano après environ 35 km. A Coriano, la belle campagne est jalonnée de petits villages et de fermes disséminées entre les champs de blé, les oliviers et les vignes qui donnent les meilleurs vins romagnols. Coriano offre de splendides panoramas sur la mer, sur Saint-Marin et sur les douces collines de l’arrière-pays de Rimini ainsi que les ruines d’un puissant château des Malatesta.

Le parcours est très dur avec ses 2300 m de dénivelée totale; il suit le tracé du Marano bike, course insérée dans le circuit national Tacconi Sport qui se répète chaque année le 25 avril. Le tracé est éprouvant avec ses rudes montées et descentes ininterrompues. Il serpente en partie dans de beaux domaines agricoles faits de vignes et d’oliveraies. Cet itinéraire est indiqué pour des vététistes entraînés et techniquement évolués car il présente de très rudes passages, tant en montée qu’en descente. L’itinéraire part de la piazza Rossini à Coriano, devant la mairie, et après une première partie asphaltée près de la base de missiles, il entre au km 5 dans le domaine de l’entreprise vinicole Santini. Parcourir un sentier le long des vignes, qui conduit, après une partie vallonnée et d’autres passages parmi les vignes et les oliveraies, au km 17, à l’exploitation agricole Il Capannino, celle-ci offrant la possibilité de déguster du vin et de l’huile. Au km 20 commence une montée conduisant dans le village de Montecolombo. Passer tout d’abord près de l’ancien lavoir restauré puis après une brève portion de route pavée, devant le château du splendide village.

Continuer en descente jusqu’au km 27,5. Après la fatigue accumulée, les derniers km sont assez durs pour la vallonnement incessant du tracé sur sentiers et petites parties asphaltées. L’arrivée à Coriano aura lieu après au moins 4 heures de parcours, vu les difficultés de celui-ci, mais la beauté des lieux traversés en vaut la peine.

This is one of the most beautiful and most difficult itineraries in the province of Rimini. It begins in the municipality of Coriano and passes through Montecolombo, with is castle and restored washhouse, before returning to Coriano after about 35 km. The countryside around Coriano is beautiful, with small villages and farms dotted around holdings that cultivate wheat, olives and splendid vines, used to produce quality wines. Coriano offers spectacular views of the coast, San Marino and the rolling hills of the hinterland of Rimini, as well as the remains of an impressive Malatesta castle.

The itinerary is very difficult with an overall gradient of 2300 m. It covers the same route as the “Marano Bike” race, which is held each year on 25th April and is part of the Tacconi Sport national circuit. The itinerary is demanding due to the series of climbs and descents. In part, it crosses beautiful agricultural estates covered in vines and olive groves. It is suitable for fit and technically capable cyclists as it has very steep climbs and descents.

It begins in Piazza Rossini in Coriano opposite the town hall and after an initial stretch on asphalt, near the missile base, after 5 km heads onto the Santini Estate and along rows of vines. After several climbs and descents and other stretches through vineyards and olive groves, after 17 km it leads to “Il Capannino” farm where it is possible to taste the wine and oil produced. At 20 km a climb begins that leads to Montecolombo, a village with an old renovated washhouse. After a short stretch of flagstone road in front of the castle, the itinerary heads downhill as far as 27.5 km. The last few kilometres are particularly demanding due to tiredness and the steep climbs and descents on dirt tracks and asphalt. Given the difficulties, the itinerary will last at least 4 hours but is well worth tackling because of the beauty of the places visited.

L’itinéraire serpente sur toute sa longueur parmi les oliveraies et les vignes des collines de l’arrière-pays de Rimini, jusque sous le mont Titano (République de Saint-Marin) d’où le panorama est splendide. Le tracé se déroule en grande partie sur le territoire de la commune de Coriano. Il part du parc du fleuve Marano et prend la direction de la côte pour tourner à gauche dans la via Fiume au km 2,2. La première difficulté est au km 4, une courte montée qui passe près du lac de Vecciano. Nous sommes à proximité du hameau de Cerasolo, que nous atteignons par une rude montée au km 8,5. Au km 12,15, nous tournons à gauche au croisement pour Torraccia et continuons, en montée, jusqu’au km 13,4 où nous rencontrons la via Montelupo. Tourner alors à gauche et côtoyer l’Aéroclub de Saint-Marin pour arriver au km 13,63 au fond de la via Montelupo.

Après une ferme, prendre un sentier rude et escarpé à droite qui descend dans le sous-bois (faire attention aux nombreuses pierres qui affleurent).

A la fin de la descente dans le bois (km14,1) arrivée au lac de Faetano (sur votre gauche). Traverser la route départementale qui conduit au château de Faetano et suivre le tableau du C.A.I. Parcourir la piste cyclable du fleuve Marano en direction de Rimini. Les 5 derniers km de ce parcours sont très divertissants, la piste cyclable proposant une paire de gués, des passages très étroits en sous-bois et un fond en terre plutôt irrégulier.

Dans cette partie, il faut également faire attention aux nombreux chevaux pouvant se trouver sur le sentier car le territoire présente un grand nombre de manèges et d’élevages de chevaux. Une fois au parc du Marano, lieu du début du parcours, les nombreux espaces aménagés du parc offrent une agréable possibilité de halte et de restauration.

The entire itinerary crosses olive groves and vineyards on the hills in the hinterland of Rimini, reaching as far as just under imposing Mount Titano in the Republic of San Marino. It runs mainly through the territory of the municipality of Coriano. It begins in Marano River Park and heads towards the coast before turning left into Via Fiume after 2.2 km. The first difficult part is after 4 km, where there is a short climb that runs close to Vecciano Lake. A steep climb at 8.5 km leads to the village of Cerasolo and at 12.15 km the itinerary turns left at the junction towards Torraccia before continuing uphill as far as 13.4 km and Via Montelupo. It then runs left alongside San Marino Flying Club as far as 13.63 km, at the end of Via Montelupo.

After the farm, a path on the right leads downhill into a very steep and precipitous brushwood (beware of the many visible rocks). After the descent into the wood (14.1 km) lies Faetano Lake on the left. Cross the PR that leads to Faetano and, following the Italian Alpine Club chart, take the Marano River cycle path towards Rimini.

The last 5 km of the itinerary are great fun. There are a couple of fords on the cycle path and some very narrow stretches in the brushwood on an extremely bumpy dirt track. In this part, cyclists should also look out for horses, which they may come across, as the area is full of stables and stud farms. At Marano Park, where the itinerary began, cyclists will find numerous facilities for refreshment and relaxing.

Cet itinéraire suit les anciennes voies de communication que les habitants de la basse vallée du Conca utilisaient dès le Moyen Age. Le parcours part de la piazza del Popolo de Morciano et, suivant les indications pour Montefiore, après une paire de ronds-points et une courte montée, atteint un croisement d’où il faut prendre la direction de Saludecio. Une légère descente et au km 2,3, prendre une route secondaire à droite indiquant le “Santuario degli Uccelli”. Au km 6,4 (au pont tourner à gauche), la première difficulté avec la montée de San Teodoro portant au village homonyme. Une courte portion de route asphaltée et au km 9,3 tourner à droite et suivre un sentier jusqu’à une vieille maison abandonnée, tourner alors à gauche dans une courte montée et continuer tout droit pour Montebaiacane. Au croisement, tourner à droite en restant sur la crête sur quelques centaines de mètres, puis par un sentier en descente dépasser le village de Cabianco et rejoindre le château de Cerreto. Immédiatement après la sortie du château, au km 12,3, se trouve une fontaine sur la droite. La descente reconduisant au fond de la vallée est très technique et demande une grande maîtrise. Au km 13,5, au croisement de Case Palazzi, tourner à gauche et après environ 3 km affronter la montée de Cà Santino, d’environ 1 km, qui conduit à la RD qui relie Montefiore à Tavoleto; une fois la route traversée, suivre une ancienne route médiévale en descente jusqu’à un hameau (localité de Molino Rocchi). Au km 19, au croisement (garder la droite) la route commence à monter doucement jusqu’au village de Castelnuovo. Une fois dépassée la localité dénommée “le stalle”, au km 22 abandonner la route principale et tourner à droite pour suivre une descente difficile.

A la fin de la descente, un court passage précède un véritable single track à l’intérieur d’une forêt touffue. Cette partie termine au km 27,4 où il faut tourner à droite pour commencer à monter en un single track vers la forteresse de Montefiore. Dépasser le village et, le long de la descente, au km 31,6, croisement avec la via Forca d’où commence une montée conduisant au point le plus haut du parcours. Quitter l’asphalte et entrer dans un bois de châtaigniers en descente, en single track. Après quelques vallonnements, reprendre la route asphaltée dans la via S. Maria Maddalena (km 34,5), dépasser un dos-d’âne et, à la hauteur de l’église, tourner à gauche pour la dernière descente sur fond très pierreux. A la fin de la descente, tourner à droite pour revenir à Morciano.

This itinerary follows the ancient roads that the inhabitants of the lower Conca Valley used during the Middle Ages. It begins in Piazza del Popolo in Morciano and initially heads towards Montefiore. After a few roundabouts and a short climb is the junction towards Saludecio, then a slight descent and at 2.3 km a secondary road on the right with signs for “Santuario degli Uccelli”. At 6.4 km (left at the bridge) begins the first difficult stretch with the San Teodoro climb that leads to the village of the same name. There is a short stretch of asphalt road and at 9.3 km, turn right along the path as far as the abandoned house, left uphill and then straight to Montebaiacane. Turn right at the junction, keeping to the crest for a few hundred metres then downhill on the path to Cabianco and Cerreto Castle. After the castle at 12.3 km there is a water fountain on the right. The descent back to the valley floor is extremely technical and requires great skill. At 13.5 km at the Case Palazzi crossroads turn left then after 3 km is the 1 km Cà Santino climb that leads back to the Montefiore - Tavoleto PR. Cross the PR and take the old medieval road that leads downhill to a group of houses (Molino Rocchi). At 19 km there is a junction (keep right) and the road begins to climb gently as far as Castelnuovo. After the village of “Le Stalle” at 22 km leave the main road and turn right onto a difficult downhill stretch. A short distance from the end is the start of a single track in dense brushwood that finishes at 27.4 km.

Turn right and start to climb a single track to Montefiore Fortress. Past the village, along the descent, at 31.6 km is the junction with Via Forca where a climb begins that leads to the highest part of the itinerary. Leave the asphalt road and head into a chestnut wood on a single track descent. After a series of climbs and descents, return to asphalt on Via S. Maria Maddalena (34.5 km). Once over the hump in the road and with the church in sight, turn left for the last descent along a rocky path. At the bottom, turn right and return to Morciano.

Nous sommes sur le territoire de la commune de Montecolombo, localité aux anciennes origines romaines (Castrum Montis Colombi). Le tour part du parking sur la route départementale (localité de Osteria Nuova) et, suivant la petite route à droite (via colomba) et après avoir dépassé le pont sur le fleuve Conca, commence à monter jusqu’au croisement en direction de Montefiore (km 1,25). Arrivés au km 1,67, tourner à droite sur une route en terre; une courte partie vallonnée débouche à l’entrée du bois (km 3,95). Pénétrer à l’intérieur suivant le sentier présentant quelques gués. A la sortie (km 8,09), au croisement prendre à droite la route pour Molino Rocchi et au croisement (km 8,48 ) remonter vers le village de Castelnuovo (km 10,95).

La route continue de monter sur la crête offrant sur la droite tout le panorama du parcours à affronter jusqu’à l’église de Piandicastello (km 15,21). Remplir les gourdes à la petite fontaine et reprendre la randonnée sur la petite route en terre en direction du cimetière. Quelques mètres avant, tourner à gauche, le sentier portera au point le plus haut du parcours (alt. 552 m). De là-haut commence la descente arrivant au-dessous du château de Onferno. Vu la difficulté du terrain, il est conseillé de descendre du vélo dans certains points. Cette zone offre plusieurs attraits, il ne faut pas oublier que nous nous trouvons dans une zone naturaliste particulière offrant la possibilité de visiter le musée et les célèbres grottes citées par Dante Alighieri dans la ''Divine Comédie''. Continuer sur une partie asphaltée en montée puis se lancer dans une longue descente sans virages jusqu’au km 19,87 pour reprendre le chemin en terre sur la droite. Suivre la crête de la colline prenant pour référence le village de Gemmano sur notre droite. De continuels vallonnements sur un terrain dur et poussiéreux mettront vos vélos à rude épreuve jusqu’à la reprise de la route asphaltée (km 22,15). Tourner à gauche et suivre la route départementale en direction de Gemmano, rejoignant ''via Conventaccio'' et, après une courte montée en terre, commencer à descendre vers le fond de la vallée en suivant le sentier verdoyant à mi-côte qui débouche sur la petite église toute blanche de Carbognano (km 26,47 ). De ce point, la vue s’ouvre sur le fond de la vallée, la fin du parcours se trouvant à quelques minutes de cette hauteur. La route est de nouveau asphaltée, la descente rapide devant nous nous ramène sur le pont du fleuve Conca et de là, nous continuons jusqu’au croisement en tournant à gauche. Nous voici de nouveau à Osteria nuova.

The itinerary covers the municipality of Montecolombo, an ancient Roman town (Castrum Montis Colombi). It begins in the car park on the PR in Osteria Nuova and follows the road on the right (Via Colomba). After the bridge over the Conca River, start to climb towards Montefiore as far as the junction (1.25 km). At 1.67 km turn right on the dirt track then after a series of climbs and descents (3.95 km) head into the wood following the path and cross some fords. Out of the wood (8.09 km), at the junction turn right onto the Molino Rocchi road and at the junction (8.48 km) climb to Castelnuovo (10.95 km). With the entire route to be covered on the right, the road continues to climb the crest of the hill as far as Piandicastello church (15.21 km). Top up with water at the fountain then get back on the dirt track towards the cemetery. A few metres before the cemetery, turn left along the path that leads to the highest part of the itinerary (552 m asl). From here, descend to Onferno Castle. Given the precarious state of the land we recommend dismounting. There are many attractions here as it is an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is possible to visit the museum and grottoes mentioned by Dante in his “Divine Comedy”. Continue on the asphalt stretch uphill then on the long, straight descent as far as 19.87 km where the itinerary turns right, back onto the dirt track. Follow the crest of the hill, keeping the village of Gemmano on your right. A series of climbs and descents on hard, dusty terrain will test your bike. The itinerary continues on asphalt (22.15 km). Turn left and follow the PR towards Gemmano as far as Via Conventaccio and after a short climb on a dirt track head down to the valley floor following the path halfway up the hill, through lush greenery to Carbognano church (26.47 km). There are spectacular views of the valley from here and the arrival point is nearby. This stretch is asphalt and the fast descent ahead leads back to the bridge over the River Conca and continuing as far as the crossroads and turning left leads back to Osteria Nuova.

Montalbano

De Misano A. et de Cattolica gagner le Vieux Pont sur le fleuve Conca. Monter au hameau de Montalbano, le parc se trouve à droite, près du fleuve Le tour commence dans le parc de Montalbano situé sur une terrasse naturelle, dans la première partie de l’arrière-pays de Cattolica, celui-ci offrant un splendide panorama sur toute la rivière. Partir en descendant vers la digue du fleuve Conca et prendre la piste cyclable qui côtoie le fleuve jusqu’à l’ancien moulin à huile de Pianventena; de la place, suivre la route asphaltée jusqu’au croisement avec la via Vallette et, après environ 1 Km, passer devant le domaine du «Tempio antico».

Prendre la via Conca Nuova en direction du centre historique de S.Giovanni in M., dont l’histoire est étroitement liée à la grande productivité de ses terres, fertiles au point de se mériter l’épithète de «Grenier des Malatesta». De S. Giovanni, se diriger sur la colline de Montelupo avec ses splendides cultures de vignes et les caves de la «Tenuta del Monsignore». Revenant vers la côte, traverser les champs de blé, de tournesols et de luzerne, admirant, derrière la colline de Fanano, la forteresse de Gradara, magnifique exemple d’architecture militaire du XIIe siècle, notre destination suivante. A Gradara, traverser la forteresse entrant par la porte principale, côté sud, et sortant par un sentier, côté nord, qui conduit au fond de la vallée et longe l’autoroute A.14. Une fois dans la localité de Colombarone, sur la RN S.S. n°16, monter sur la colline par le sentier n°2 du Parc naturel du Monte S.Bartolo; au sommet, à proximité du bar, prendre un étroit sentier qui commence par des marches en ciment, passe au milieu des genêts et débouche sur un magnifique panorama à pic sur la mer qui offre un aperçu extraordinaire de la rivière romagnole. Descendre encore parmi les genêts et après quelques parties de route asphaltée, prendre un sentier au milieu du bois conduisant à Baia Vallugola, avec sa petite plage et son port. Reprendre la route départementale qui porte à Gabicce Monte, et de là revenir à Cattolica, suivant tout d’abord la RN S.S. n°16 puis une courte portion de piste cyclable le long du fleuve Conca jusqu’au parc de Montalbano.

The itinerary begins near Cattolica in Montalbano Park, a natural balcony overlooking the coast that offers spectacular views of the entire Riviera. It starts with a downhill stretch towards the dam on the River Conca where it joins the cycle path along the river as far as the former mill in Pianventena. From the square, it follows the asphalt road to the crossroads with Via Vallette and after about 1 km passes beside the Tempio Antico Estate. It continues on Via Conca Nuova towards the old town centre of San Giovanni in M. whose history is strictly linked to the great productivity and fertility of these lands, earning it the name of the “Breadbasket of the Malatesta”. From here, the itinerary heads to Montelupo hill where it is possible to admire the vineyards and cellars of the Monsignore Estate. Turning back towards the coast the itinerary crosses wheat, sunflower and alfalfa fields. Next to Fanano Hill, it is possible to admire Gradara Castle, a fine example of 12th century military architecture and our next stop.

The itinerary enters Gradara fortress through the main entrance on the south side and exits by a path on the north side, which leads to the valley floor alongside the A14 motorway. In Colombarone on the AR 16, head uphill along path no. 2 of Monte San Bartolo Natural Park. At the top, near the bar, turn onto a narrow path that begins with some cement steps, passes through fields of Spanish broom and opens onto spectacular panoramic views of the Riviera of Romagna with cliffs dropping sheer to the sea. Descend again amid Spanish broom and along some asphalt stretches to a narrow path in the woods that leads to Vallugola Bay, a sandy beach with a small harbour. Return to the PR that leads to Gabicce Monte and then to Cattolica, first along the AR 16 then following short stretches of cycle path along the Conca River back to Montalbano Park.

De Rimini, continuer pour Coriano, puis suivre les indications pour S.Clement.

De Riccione et de Cattolica, rejondre Morciano di R., puis suivre les indications pour S.Clemente.

Le départ se fait du côté extérieur des murs malatestiens, versant nord.

Descendre tout d’abord par la route asphaltée puis par une route en terre à S. Andrea in Casale, dans la loc. de Ca’ Togni, traverser la route départementale et poursuivre en direction du fleuve Conca. Parcourir la via Pian di Vaglia dans la direction de la vallée, alternant des passages sur route asphaltée, piste puis de nouveau route asphaltée, le long de la via Cerro jusqu’au gué sur le fleuve.

Tourner à gauche avant le gué (à côté de la barre) et parcourir la route en terre, puis asphaltée. Longer de nouveau le fleuve et suivre de très beaux sentiers verdoyants conduisant à la digue qui barre le cours du fleuve. Pédaler ensuite sur la digue gauche du fleuve, traverser ce dernier sur le pont de la nationale et regagner la piste cyclable. A un certain point, sur le côté gauche de la piste, admirer les prés splendides d’un terrain de golf. Continuer jusqu’à l’ancien moulin à huile de Pianventena; traverser la route et reprendre la piste cyclable conduisant à Morciano di R. A proximité d’un manège pour chevaux, reprendre la route départementale où, sur la gauche, avant le pont, se trouve une fontaine pour remplir les gourdes. Tout de suite après le pont, au rond-point, suivre l’indication pour St. Marin pendant une centaine de mètres puis tourner à gauche au milieu d’un petit pâté de maisons. Prendre la piste cyclable et l’abandonner après environ 2 kilomètres; parcourir une partie de la route départementale et monter toute la via Ca’ Menghi, jusqu’à la fontaine. Tourner à gauche quelques mètres après cette fontaine et prendre la route Panoramique. Dans la loc. de Croce, descendre le long de la départementale dans la loc. de S. Savino. Tourner à droite et descendre dans la via Veneto puis rejoindre la loc. de Agello. Pour finir, monter le long de la route asphaltée en direction de S.Clemente et revenir au point de départ.

The itinerary begins outside the Malatesta walls on the north side. It descends initially on an asphalt road then a dirt track to S. Andrea in Casale.

In Cà Togni it crosses the PR and continues towards the Conca River. It runs along Via Pian di Vaglia towards the valley, alternating between stretches on asphalt and dirt track along Via Cerro as far as the ford on the river. Before it, turn left (beside the barrier) and continue along the dirt track then the asphalt road. Return along the river and beautiful paths through lush greenery as far as the dam across the river. The itinerary continues along the left bank before crossing the river on the AR bridge and returns to the cycle path.

At a certain point, on the left side of the cycle path there are splendid golf courses. The itinerary continues as far as the former mill in Pianventena. It crosses the road and returns to the cycle path that runs as far as Morciano di R. Near the stables, the itinerary returns to the PR where, on the left before the bridge, there is a water fountain. Just after the bridge at the roundabout cyclists should follow signs for San Marino for about 100 metres and then turn left into the middle of a small group of houses. A new cycle path begins which the itinerary leaves after about 2 km to return to a short stretch of PR before climbing Via Cà Menghi. There is a fountain at the top and a few metres from the fountain, the itinerary turns left and follows Via Panoramica.

In Croce, it descends along the PR to San Savino. Here it turns right and descends Via Veneto as far as Agello. Finally, there is a climb along an asphalt road towards San Clemente, which leads back to the start.

De Riccione et de Cattolica rejoindre Morciano di R. Puis suivre la R. D. du Conca pendant 15 km et rejoindre Mercatino C., 1 km après Mercatino, tourner à droite pour rejoindre Montegrimano.

Montegrimano Terme is an ancient medieval castle still standing in the heart of the village. The itinerary begins in Ciacci Municipal Park following an asphalt stretch for about 2.8 km towards Avvelaneta. At chart no. 1 turn right uphill on a path towards Monte San Paolo through the village of Savignano Montetassi at 4.8 km. On Monte San Paolo, at 6.7 km, continue uphill on the asphalt road keeping to the right. Use the antennas on the mountain as reference and head towards the lowest one (the last one on the right). This point offers beautiful panoramic views of the Republic of San Marino, the Marecchia Valley, with the fortresses of San Leo and Montebello, and the Riviera of Romagna. At 10.2 km turn right onto a very difficult downhill single track (be very careful) that leads close to the Valle S. Anastasio springs. To reach them, cyclists have to leave the itinerary, turn right for 100 metres at chart no. 10. In the village of Cà Micci at 12 km, turn towards Mercatino Conca as far as chart no. 13 at 14.2 km. Here, turn right, leave the asphalt road and take a downhill path. At the bottom, turn right again onto the asphalt road and follow it for about 1 km to Montegrimano thermal spa, a mineral spring that has existed since Roman times.

After the spa, turn right as far as the village of Meleto at 16.8 km where there is another natural water spring (a little hidden away on the left). At this point, the itinerary is nearly finished and, following signs on the last charts, after 18.2 km leads back to Ciacci Municipal Park.

Montegrimano Terme est un ancien château médiéval dont la structure est encore bien visible dans le centre du petit pays. Le parcours part du parc municipal “Ciacci“ pour se développer sur une partie asphaltée d’environ 2,8 km en direction de Avvelaneta. Arrivés au n° 1 du tableau, tourner à droite en montant par un sentier en direction du mont San Paolo et en traversant le petit village de Savignano Montetassi qui se trouve au km 4,8. Arrivés sur le mont San Paolo, au km 6,7, monter en suivant la route asphaltée et en gardant toujours la droite. Prendre éventuellement pour repère les antennes situées sur le mont, suivant la direction de l’antenne la plus basse (la dernière à droite). A ce point, le panorama qui s’offre au regard est magnifique, car le sommet du mont San Paolo offre une vue splendide de la République de SaintMarin, de la vallée du Marecchia, avec la forteresse de San Leo et celle de Montebello, et de la rivière romagnole. Au km 10,2, tourner à droite pour s’engager dans un single trek très difficile à parcourir en descente (observer la plus grande prudence ), tracé qui débouchera à proximité des sources de la vallée S. Anastasio. Pour rejoindre ces dernières, il est nécessaire de faire une petite déviation par rapport au parcours. Au n° 10 du tableau, tourner à droite et parcourir 100 m. Arrivés au hameau de Ca’ Micci, au km 12, prendre la direction de Mercatino Conca, jusqu’au n° 13 du tableau; au km 14,2, tourner à droite et laisser la route asphaltée pour s’engager dans un sentier en descente. A la fin de celui-ci, tourner à droite et reprendre la route asphaltée. Parcourir environ 1 km jusqu’aux thermes de Montegrimano, sources minérales célèbres dès l’époque romaine. Laisser les thermes et tourner à droite pour arriver, au km 16,8, dans la localité de Meleto, où se trouve une autre source (un peu cachée sur la droite). A ce point, le parcours touche à sa fin et suivant les dernières indications du tableau, regagne le parc municipal “Ciacci“, après une boucle de 18,2 km.

Mercatino Conca

The tour begins in Piazza Rossini in Mercatino Conca. As the impressive six-arch bridge on the road to San Marino, Carpegna and Urbino shows, during the Middle Ages the village of Mercatino Conca belonged to the Malatesta family.

The ancient castle was built in 1272 but was destroyed by Federico da Montefeltro in 1462 when his troops conquered it. Just outside Mercatino, once across the bridge and after about 2 km, the itinerary starts to climb gently first towards Ripalta and then through a wood with sheer gradients to the village of Montealtavelio.

Following signs for the “Osteria del Mirecul” restaurant, the itinerary takes a stretch of asphalt road that after about 4 km of climbs and descents leads to Piandicastello church. From here, the itinerary heads downhill following signs for Auditore-Tavoleto and leaves the Conca Valley for the Ventena Valley in Torricella at 15.4 km. After a dirt track stretch, at 18 km a medieval stone path leads uphill to the medieval villages of Castelnuovo and Piandicastello. This time, turn right towards the cemetery then downhill to the Onferno Caves where there is an interesting natural history museum housing beautiful bats, amongst other things.

Leave the caves and head downhill before climbing again along an asphalt road that leads to Molino Renzini (31 km). Turn left before the bridge onto a dirt track running along the Conca River and then at 32 km near a barn turn right. After 200 metres, head back onto the outward route in the opposite direction. Once back at the bridge in Mercatino Conca, continue straight on Via Tretolo and 500 m away, opposite the sports ground, cross the wooden bridge and take the cycle path. At the end of the cycle path turn left towards the village and after 100 metres turn right, returning to the departure point (Piazza Rossini) after 35.8 km.

Le tour part de la piazza Rossigni de Mercatino Conca. Situé dans une position de carrefour très importante, comme le témoigne un pont à six arches, ouvrage déterminant sur les routes pour St. Marin, Carpegna et Urbino, Mercatino appartenait à l’époque médiévale à la famille des Malatesta. L’ancien château, connu dès 1272, fut détruit par les troupes de Federico da Montefeltro qui réussit à s’en emparer en 1462. Le parcours, qui sort de Mercatino par le pont, commence après environ 2 km à monter avec des pentes non élevées qui conduisent tout d’abord à Ripalta puis, traversant un bois, avec des pentes plus sévères, au hameau de Montealtavelio. Suivant les indications pour “ l’Osteria dei Mirecul “, parcourir la route asphaltée qui, après quelques vallonnements et environ 4 km, aboutit devant l’église de Piandicastello. Descendant encore suivant les indications AuditoreTavoleto, laisser la vallée du Conca pour gagner celle du Ventena, dans la localité de Torricella, au km 15,4. Après une partie de route en terre, au km 18 prendre un sentier pierreux d’origine médiévale qui monte initialement vers le village médiéval de Castelnuovo puis à Piandicastelllo. Suivre alors la direction du cimetière prenant un virage vers la droite et commencer une descente conduisant aux grottes de Onferno, musée naturaliste très intéressant avec de très belles chauves-souris.

Après les grottes, le parcours descend pour remonter ensuite vers une route asphaltée conduisant à Molino Renzini (km 31). Tournant à gauche avant le pont, prendre une route en terre qui côtoie le fleuve Conca, et au km 32, à la hauteur d’une grange, tourner à droite pour reprendre, après 200 m, le parcours de l’aller à refaire dans le sens opposé. Une fois revenus sur le pont de Mercatino Conca, continuer tout droit par la via Tretolo et, 500 m après, en face du terrain sportif, traverser un pont en bois et s’engager dans la piste cyclable. A la fin de celle-ci, tourner à gauche dans la direction du village et, après 100 m, tourner à droite pour regagner le point de départ (piazza Rossigni), après avoir parcouru 35,8 km.

Montecerignone

L’histoire de ce château a vu la domination de familles parmi les plus importantes d’Italie, des Carpegna à Buonconte di Montefeltro, qui, au XIIe siècle, fit construire la forteresse. Le centre de la localité abrite la piazza Clementina, en l’honneur du pape Clément XIV qui naquit en cette ville. Le tour part de la piazza F.lli Cervi située sous la forteresse, descend vers le pays pour remonter au sanctuaire du bienheureux Domenico (km 1.3). Après avoir traversé une bonne partie en sous-bois en montée et une fois arrivés au-dessous de Villagrande, prendre la route asphaltée le long du versant du mont San Paolo. La route asphaltée conduit à la vallée Magnone, au km 9.4.

Tout de suite après commence une descente, très technique, avec un fond pierreux très accidenté; il est conseillé aux moins expérimentés de descendre de leur vélo. Le parcours atteint le fleuve Conca après environ un kilomètre (km 13). Côtoyer le fleuve le long de sa rive gauche (direction Morciano), suivant le sentier principal jusqu’à Molino Giovanetti. En ce point, tourner à droite devant une grange (km 14.6 tab 18) et traverser le fleuve passant sous un pont. Une montée très difficile d’environ 100 m conduit au hameau de Cà Secco, où se trouve une fontaine. Monter encore pour arriver, après 18.2 km, au mont S. Lorenzo. Faire très attention car à la hauteur de l’observatoire astronomique (sur notre droite), nous nous trouvons en face de trois routes en terre et il nous faut prendre celle qui va tout droit. Après une partie en descente, au km 18.6, la route en terre tourne brusquement à droite et après quelques centaines de mètres arrive à la hauteur d’une déviation, en ce point, il faut suivre la route principale. Le parcours continue sans gros problèmes jusqu’au km 20.7 où il faut prendre un sentier, dénommé “Strada Vicinale della Serra”, qui court sur l’arête du mont et présente des montées très difficiles. Une fois en haut du sentier, prendre la route départementale du col de la Faggiola et tourner à gauche au km 25 pour s’engager dans un sentier (parcourir à pied les 200 premiers mètres) de ce même mont qui, après quelques kilomètres en sous-bois, une petite portion de route départementale et une belle descente sur une route en terre, nous ramènera à Montecerignone.

The history of the castle is linked to some of the greatest Italian families including the Carpegna and the Buonconte di Montefeltro who built the fortress in the 12th century.

In the centre of the village is Piazza Clementina, which commemorates the birth of Pope Clement XIV. The tour begins in Piazza F.lli Cervi under the fortress, descends towards the village then climbs to the Sanctuary of the Blessed Domenico (1.3 km). After crossing a piece of woodland uphill, at the foot of Villagrande take an asphalt road along the slopes of Monte San Paolo. Then climb back up the asphalt road to the Magnone Valley at 9.4 km. Just after, there is a very technical descent full of holes and stones and we recommend less experienced cyclists to dismount. The Conca River is only a few km away (13 km). The itinerary runs along the left bank of the river (towards Morciano) and follows the main path to Molino Giovanneti to a barn (14.6 km chart 18). Turn right and ford the river, passing under a bridge. A very difficult 100-metre ramp leads to the village of Cà Secco where there is a fountain.

Climb again as far as Monte S. Lorenzo (18.2 km) where cyclists should be careful as near the astronomical observatory (on your right) there are three dirt tracks. The correct one continues straight on a downhill stretch to 18.6 km. The dirt track turns sharply right and after a few hundred metres there is a diversion. Follow the main road. The itinerary continues without any particular problems as far as 20.7 km where there is a path called “Strada Vicinale della Serra” that runs along the crest of the hill; a very difficult uphill stretch. At the top take the Valico della Faggiola PR where at 25 km on the left there is a path (the first 200 metres have to be covered on foot) on Monte Faggiola that after a few km of woodland, a short stretch of PR and a beautiful downhill dirt track stretch leads back to Montecerignone.

Le tour part de Pietracuta, du parking parallèle à la RN Marecchiese, sur asphalte, en direction de S. Leo. Après le bar/poste d’essence, dépasser le croisement puis laisser l’asphalte après quelques dizaines de mètres et tourner à gauche dans un chemin charretier. Rejoindre la crête au lieu-dit Case Belvedere. Monter, sur asphalte, jusqu’à Tausano. Suivre ensuite une route en terre conduisant, après quelques kilomètres, au «Varco», croisement de chemins et de sentiers qui rayonnent à 360°.

Prendre à droite la piste accidentée en terre et la suivre jusqu’au croisement successif. Monter à gauche et rejoindre la crête. Prendre à droite le splendide sentier jusqu’aux croix du mont S. Severino et descendre au cimetière de S. Leo. Rejoindre le centre de S. Leo, sur asphalte. Une ancienne route pavée permet de monter jusqu’à la forteresse. Pour le retour, une fois sortis du village, prendre la route asphaltée en direction de Secchiano/Novafeltria et, après un kilomètre, tourner à droite dans un petit sentier en partie caché par les arbustes. Après le coteau, il débouche devant le couvent franciscain du XIIIe siècle de S. Igne.

Descendre par la route en terre qui passe juste sous le couvent et, suivant une rapide descente, initialement blanche puis accidentée, rejoindre le fleuve Marecchia dans la localité de Ponte S. Maria Maddalena.

Parcourir quelques mètres sur asphalte le long de la RN 258 en direction de Rimini, puis prendre à droite une ancienne route asphaltée abandonnée qui débouche après un kilomètre sur la route asphaltée du départ. Un kilomètre encore et voilà de nouveau le point de départ.

This itinerary starts in Pietracuta, from the car park on the Marecchiese PR, on the road to San Leo. A short distance after the bar/petrol station and the crossroads, leave the asphalt road and turn right along a cart road. This leads to the crest of the hill in Case Belvedere. On asphalt, the road climbs to Tausano. The itinerary continues on a dirt track that after a few km reaches a junction of roads and paths that head in all directions. Bear right on the rocky dirt track and follow it as far as the next crossroads. Climb left on the crest. Turn right and follow the spectacular path as for as the crosses on Monte S. Severino then head downhill to San Leo cemetery. On asphalt, head into the heart of the village.

On the old paved road it is possible to climb up to the fortress. For the return journey, once out of the village, head downhill on the asphalt road towards Secchiano/Novafeltria and after a km turn right along a small path half hidden by shrubs. Over the hill stands the 13th century, Franciscan monastery of S. Igne. Head down the dirt track just below the monastery as far as the Marecchia River in the village of Ponte S. Maria Maddalena. Continue for a few metres along the AR 258 asphalt road towards Rimini and then turn right on a disused asphalt road for a few km as far as the initial road. A few km and the itinerary is back at the departure point.

The itinerary begins at the new wooden footbridge in the centre of Rimini. From the right bank (north) of the Marecchia River it heads towards the hills on a dirt track along the riverbank as far as the suburbs of the town. Just outside the town there is a factory that excavates, crushes, stores and transports river shingle and sand. At the end of a short stretch shared with lorries, a more demanding piece begins.

The earth and river stone terrain makes for a fun ride.

The itinerary follows the main track. Cyclists should never take the tracks on the left, which lead to the river, unless they wish do some bird watching. After almost 8 km there is a clearing with an abandoned crusher. The itinerary then leads to the “Mutoids” field (the mutoids are a group of foreign, nomadic artists). Beyond the field and the remains of an old bridge over the river, the track swerves right and then heads onto the asphalt road to Santarcangelo. Turn left onto the asphalt road for about a km and at the first roundabout turn left. At the second roundabout, cross the road and head right on the cycle path that leads to the centre of Santarcangelo. Follow the same cycle path for the return journey, cross the Marecchia River over Via Santarcangelo/San Martino dei Mulini Bridge. Turn right after the bridge and head right onto the cycle path. Cycle towards the sea as far as Rimini.

Départ de l’itinéraire du nouveau pont piétonnier en bois du centre de Rimini. De la rive droite (nord) du fleuve Marecchia, se diriger vers les collines en suivant la piste blanche qui côtoie le cours d’eau jusqu’à la sortie complète du centre habité. Immédiatement après, le parcours traverse une zone d’activités d’exploitation, excavation, broyage, stockage et transport de graviers et de sables fluviaux. A la fin d’un court passage, également emprunté par des camions, le parcours devient plus difficile. Le fond de terre et de pierres rend la randonnée plus amusante. Suivre la piste principale sans ne jamais tourner sur les pistes provenant de la gauche qui conduisent directement au fleuve, exception faite pour une envie de bird waching. Après presque 8 km, la piste débouche sur une place, dominée par un ancien moulin à huile abandonné, et peu après, sur un camp de Mutoid (artistes nomades étrangers). Après le camp de Mutoid et les ruines d’un vieux pont sur le fleuve, notre piste tourne à droite pour retrouver l’asphalte et rejoindre Santarcangelo. Tourner à gauche et suivre la route asphaltée pendant environ un km puis tourner encore à gauche au premier rondpoint. Au deuxième rond-point, traverser la route et prendre à droite la piste cyclable conduisant dans le centre de Santargangelo. Même piste cyclable pour le retour, traversée du Marecchia sur le pont de la via Santarcangelo/San Martino dei Mulini. Tourner à droite après le pont, puis de nouveau à droite dans la piste cyclable blanche. Pédaler dans la direction mer pour le retour à Rimini.

Départ du centre de Santarcangelo. Tourner le dos à la piazza Ganganelli et prendre la direction du stade, continuer tout droit au premier rond-point. Au deuxième rond-point, tourner à gauche; au troisième rond-point, tourner à droite et continuer jusqu’à une voie blanche sur la droite. L’itinéraire sur terrain naturel commence après le portail, rejoignant la piste sur le bord du fleuve et prenant la direction des collines, le fleuve Marecchia restant sur la gauche. Suivre la piste principale sur fond en terre et pierres, alternant de longues parties plates et de courts vallonnements jusqu’à Ponte Verucchio. Le parcours offre des points pour observations géologiques et de la faune ornithologique aquatique qui caractérise les nombreux plans d’eau. De Ponte Verucchio, il est également possible de visiter les forteresses de Verucchio, Torriana et Montebello, ainsi que le pic de Notre Dame de Saiano. De Ponte Verucchio, retour sur la piste cyclable sur la rive droite (sud) du Marecchia jusqu’au pont sur la via Santarcangelo/S.Martino dei Mulini et retour au point de départ.

The itinerary begins in the centre of Santarcangelo. Leaving Piazza Ganganelli behind, it heads towards the stadium. At the first roundabout it continues straight on, at the second roundabout it turns left and at the third it turn rights and continues as far as the dirt track on the right. The off-road itinerary begins just beyond the gate. The track runs along the riverbank and heads towards the hills, keeping to the left of the Marecchia River. It follows the main earth and stone track, which alternates between flat and hilly stretches, as far as Ponte Verucchio. The itinerary offers interesting geological and aquatic birdlife aspects. Beyond Ponte Verucchio it is possible to visit Verucchio, Torriana and Montebello Fortresses as well as the peaks of Madonna di Siano. From Ponte Verucchio, return to the cycle path on the right bank (south) of the Marecchia River as far as the bridge on Via Santarcangelo/S. Martino dei Mulini and return to the departure point.

Rejoindre Ponte Verucchio sur la route nationale Marecchiese à 12 km de Rimini

Leave the car at the Ponte Verucchio car park (next to the tubular sculpture by Tonino Guerra) and head off on asphalt towards Madonna Di Saiano. After an initial stretch on asphalt, a steep, cobblestone climb on the right (via Poggiolo) leads to the first rocky peak (Torriana). Another few metres on asphalt then turn left and then right and head to “I Malardot” restaurant. Turn left on an asphalt stretch, which is not in use and is barred by a cable, and then descend steeply along a path as far as the River Uso valley. At the asphalt stretch descend to the left and on the PR turn towards Masrola-Ponte Uso. After a few km of flatland, turn left onto a dirt track. Head straight along this dirt track as far as Ginestreto.

After Ginestreto take the PR and climb to Passo delle Siepi (or del Grillo). At the top of the pass, leave the asphalt and turn left onto a dirt track that leads to the “Giungla dei Castagni (The Chestnut Jungle). Head to the highest point, near a bar-restaurant (closed) and turn left onto a narrow, but clearly marked path that follows the ridge for a few dozen metres before descending treacherously. Head to the path below and follow it to the right, crossing several similar paths on the left. Turn at the third path on the left and descend to the panoramic lookout area.

At the next junction, keep to the right-hand path. Cycle around Mount Matto on alternating climbs and descents, some quite challenging, as far as the dirt track that leads to Montebello. From Montebello descend for a few km on asphalt towards Torriana as far as Via Gessi on the right, which descends steeply as far as the peak of Madonna di Saiano. Take the cement cycle path down to the Marecchia River. At the bottom, turn left and then shortly after, turn right onto the packed earth cycle path. After a few km you are back at the departure point.

Laisser la voiture au parking de Ponte Verucchio (à côté des sculptures tubulaires de Tonino Guerra) et suivre la route asphaltée en direction de Madonna Di Saiano. Une première partie asphaltée puis, à droite, une rude montée pierreuse – via Poggiolo- conduisent à notre premier relief (Torriana). Encore quelques mètres d’asphalte, à gauche, puis à droite, jusqu’au restaurant “I Malardot”, tourner ensuite à gauche sur une partie asphaltée abandonnée barrée par un câble… et suivre la dure descente d’un sentier pour gagner la vallée du fleuve Uso. Arrivés sur l’asphalte, descendre à gauche; sur la départementale, tourner en direction de Masrola-Ponte Uso. Après quelques kilomètres sur route plate, prendre une voie blanche sur la gauche; suivre la route en terre qui grimpe jusqu’à la localité de Ginestreto. Après Ginestreto, rejoindre la départementale en montant au passo delle Siepi (ou del Grillo). Au sommet du col, quitter l’asphalte et prendre la route en terre à gauche pour la Giungla dei Castagni. Le parcours atteint son point le plus élevé près d’un bar (fermé) et tourne à gauche à la recherche d’un sentier étroit mais bien visible qui suit la crête sur quelques dizaines de mètres avant une dure descente. Rejoindre la piste passant juste au-dessous et la suivre à droite, croisant ensuite sur la gauche d’autres pistes semblables. Tourner à la troisième piste à gauche et descendre vers un espace panoramique. Au croisement successif, garder la piste de droite. Faire le tour du Monte Matto suivant plusieurs vallonnements, parfois difficiles, jusqu’à la route en terre qui conduit à Montebello. De Montebello, parcourir quelques kilomètres asphaltés en descente, en direction de Torriana, jusqu’à la via Gessi sur la droite qui descend rapidement jusqu’au pic de Madonna di Saiano. Pour descendre vers le fleuve Marecchia, prendre la piste en ciment. Au fond, tourner à gauche et peu après à droite sur la piste cyclable en terre battue. Quelques kilomètres encore pour arriver au point de départ.
