HOW TO REGISTER

2026 Summer Camp New Registration Guidelines

• Session 1, start date is June 8

• Registration Dates:

– Resident Registration begins on Tuesday, February 3.

– Open Registration begins on Tuesday, February 17.

– Please register your child by their grade as of Fall 2026.

• There are two payment options to register for Camps, Before and After Camps (once you choose an option, it CAN NOT be changed).

1. Pay in Full at the time of initial registration.

– You will pay the summer camp tuition in full upon registration

2. Enroll in AUTOMATIC BILLING:

– You must ENTER and SAVE a CREDIT CARD into the PAYMENT METHODS area of your online account. Automatic Billing is found under MY ACCOUNT\PAYMENT METHODS.

– You will be charged a 25% deposit at the initial registration.

– Then, approximately 7–10 days prior to each camp session start date, your card will be charged automatically for the balance of the upcoming session.

• Tag On payment is due at the time of Registration.

– To register for Tag Ons log in to your account, click on the browse button, select the “RTPD Brochure Programs” box, then on left side under “program groups” select Camps it will expand and then pick Tag Ons. The course(s) will appear on your right.

• Late Registration is not guaranteed. Late Registration is defined as two weeks before each session starts (for Session 1, it is Monday, May 25). After the deadline, we will notify you within two business days if we can place your child. Sorry, no friendship requests will be granted with late Registration.

• Withdrawals/Refunds: To request a refund, patrons must email refundrequest@rtpd.org. Request less than 5 business days will ONLY be refunded (full or partial) with District approval. All refund requests will be charged a $5 administrative processing fee. If the park district must cancel a program, a full refund will be made without a processing fee. Most of the processing fees will go to the Send A Kid to Camp Scholarship program.

• Transfers must be made by mid-week of each camp session for camp, Before & After Camp along with any Tag Ons. Request can only be accepted if there is room in the session you are requesting. The child must complete the full week of camp before transferring into the requested program.

• Prices, dates, and times listed in the brochure may have changed since being published. Community Pass Registration will reflect the correct program and/or event information.

meet our Camp Leadership

Cassidy Lemrise has spent the last two years shaping River Trails Park District’s youth programs so that they are safe, inclusive, and full of fun. As Recreation Supervisor, she supports everything from summer camp and Kid Squad to youth enrichment classes, making sure every child feels welcome and every program runs with care and intention.

What inspires her most is the energy kids bring each day—and the chance to help them learn, grow, and shine. This summer, she’s looking forward to welcoming families, introducing new activities, and keeping favorite traditions going strong. Her goal is simple: a safe, joyful camp experience where every child feels like they belong.

Eileen Frage brings both experience and heart to River Trails. Having recently returned to the district she knows so well, she’s been busy reconnecting with families and leading the programs kids love—Kid Squad, Hit the Trails Camp Winter/Spring, and Summer Camp. Whether she’s planning activities or cheering on campers as they try something new, Eileen creates spaces where kids feel safe, supported, and ready for fun. She’s most excited for the classic joys of summer— games, adventures, field trips, and all the memories that come with them.
