Jeremy Mancus of irvington graduated from nazareth college on may 12 with a bachelor of arts in english literature concentration and inclusive education. Nicholas A. Maranino, a 2004 graduate of ardsley High School and a 2008 graduate of Sacred Heart university, graduated from the albert einstein college of medicine at Yeshiva university on may 29. dr. maranino was hooded by his sister, dr. ashley maranino. He has been accepted to north Shore Long island Jewish medical center for his residency in emergency medicine. Juliana Martins of irvington graduated from York college of pennsylvania on may 18 with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. Ethan M. Meigs of Hastings graduated from colby college on may 26 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is the son of James meigs and Jennifer Stern.

Rebecca Suzanne Godeski Merton, a lifelong Hastings resident and a 2009 Hastings High School graduate, graduated cum laude from Harvard university on may 20 with a bachelor of arts in social studies. While at Harvard, she was awarded an edward S. fleming Summer Scholar award for her public service in the native american Youth enrichment program, and a foreign language citation in Spanish. She participated in the peer Health exchange, first as an instructor, then as a leadership councilmember, providing health education workshops to Boston teenagers. She was recently awarded the Sheldon traveling fellowship, which is intended to “support a year of purposeful travel and cultural immersion outside the u.S. to foster meaningful intellectual and personal development.” rebecca plans to conduct anthropological research on health care policy and practices in chile. Joseph Michael Naples of irvington graduated from manhattan college on may 19 with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. Matthew Oberlander of ardsley graduated from Villanova university on may 19 with a bachelor of arts degree. Cara Redding of ardsley graduated from the university of connecticut on may 11 with a bachelor of science in engineering. Alexander J. Joanna Rogow, a 2003 graduate of dobbs ferry High School, graduated from the university of michigan Law School on may 12 with a juris doctor degree. She will be working as an associate at Latham & Watkins in chicago this fall. Melissa Rogow, a 2009 graduate of dobbs ferry High School, graduated from the university of Vermont on may 19 with a bachelor of science in secondary education with a concentration in math.

Dylan James Rubinstein of irvington graduated from the Harpur college of arts and Sciences at Binghamton university on may 18. He received a bachelor of arts in economics. Tracy A. Russo of irvington graduated from the university of rhode island on may 18 with a bachelor of arts in history. Jenna Sansolo of ardsley graduated from ross university of Veterinary medicine, St. Kitts, West indies, on June 4 with a doctoral degree in veterinary medicine. Alexandra M. Saraniti of irvington graduated from Bryant university on may 18 with a bachelor of science in business administration, marketing. Matthew Saunds of dobbs ferry graduated from Hartwick college on may 25 with a degree in business administration. He is the son of arlene Jacobs and robert Saunds. Allison Schorr of Hastings graduated from union college on June 16 with a bachelor of science in psychology.

Nell Simon, a Hastings High School graduate, graduated from university of connecticut on may 12 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Bonnie Sloofman of ardsley graduated from marist college on may 24 with a master’s degree in educational psychology. She had received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and dual certifications in childhood education and students with disabilities (grades 1-6) last spring. Lauren Soares of ardsley graduated from the university of connecticut on may 12 with a bachelor of arts. Talia Steiger of Hastings graduated from colorado college on may 20 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. She is the daughter of david and Bess Steiger. Jordan Stein, a 2009 graduate of ardsley High School, graduated cum laude from clark university on may 19 with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Jordan is continuing his studies and plans to receive his master of finance degree from clark next year.

PriVatE SCHooL the following rivertowns residents graduated from the masters School in dobbs ferry on Saturday, June 8. masters is a coed day and boarding school for fifth- through twelfth graders. Jessica Bernstein of irvington Maya Berrol-Young of dobbs ferry Raleigh Capozzalo of dobbs ferry, who was awarded the new York State Scholarship for academic excellence, was named a national merit commended Student, and received the masters School excellence in Science award. Edward Christensen of irvington Johanna Costigan of dobbs ferry Dylan Etzel of irvington, who was named a national merit commended Student and

received the masters School excellence in french award. Jason Mask of irvington Liam McAuliff of irvington, who earned the masters School excellence in technical theater award and was presented with a Head’s Watch by dr. maureen fonseca, head of school. Hannah Nash of dobbs ferry, who was named a national merit commended Student and won the Bradford religion award.
