Rising: You went through Kickstarter (the online funding platform for artists) to raise funds for your album back in 2009. That is becoming a common way for indie music to get funded. How did that work out for you? Would you recommend it to other artists? MCTE: It was fantastic. It's unbelievable the outpouring of sincere gratitude you receive when you allow your fans to become involved in the creative process. We were able to cover about half the cost on
