Getting Tech-Ready for School Please follow these steps to ensure your child is ready for BYOD in Grades 3-5. App Installation

Ensure the required apps for your child’s grade level are installed (see overleaf).

Set Schedules for Screentime

Utilise the App Limit feature on iPads: ·Set limits on any non-school required apps during school hours. ·Turn off iMessage on your child’s iPad. ·Please do not restrict overall screen time during school hours, so that your child can access required apps when requested by a teacher. HOW TO:

Charge and Pack User Pledge

Read the User Pledge with your child when they bring it home in the first week of school. Discuss it and sign the agreement. Return the form to your child’s homeroom teacher.

Help your child build a routine to ensure their iPad is charged and packed ready for learning.
